True. That doesn't mean a whole lot though... I tied Canucksrock/luc, lost 3-6 to you, lost 3-7 to EV and lost 2-8 to brock but beat everyone the second time I played them except you where it was 4-5. Pretty small sample size.
Well yeah, there isn't really a 'sample' you can take except maybe that your players are playing better than they were at the start of the season.
The first couple weeks guys like Stamkos and Skinner were doing nothing for me. And I think to a point, guys like Spezza and Luongo were struggling on your side of things.
Now I've got one of the hottest players in the league in Jokinen, Stamkos is rolling his way to 55 goals and the only thing that is really hurting me is my goaltending. I hate fantasy simply because the best team on paper rarely wins, it's usually who gets hot at the right time and who has ideal matchups.
If my starting goalie plays a team like Columbus in the first week of the playoffs I have a huge advantage over a guy who plays a team that rolls on offense like Pittsburgh or Philly. There are so many variables that contribute to a team's success.
But I think if I can get a couple big wins over teams that I 'should' get a big win over, I'll squeak into the playoffs. I think it's honestly between RLM and I to who gets the final spot, but SelKes could fall, depending on how much longer Jimmy Howard is out.

Don't necessarily disagree, but if you look at the total stats vs wins/losses, I wouldn't say that there's anyone right now that's significantly under- or over-achieving.
An official warning is given to Eddie Vedder for once again not setting his lineup.
Please be reminded that today there were early morning games, however, earlier in the week he missed setting his line up as well.
Keeping with the current consistency, the next offense would mean a 6th round pick would be taken away...and further another offense after that would be a 2nd round pick.
I'm playing Lundqvist tomorrow, maybe he'll have a terrible game?
I'm surprised that you would. You're winning the W's category by 3, GAA and Save %. The only thing I could possibly tie is the SO category which is unlikely.
Brock's appeal for the confiscation of the 2nd round pick for inactivity/not setting lineup.
The tribunal will reopen the case and determine whether this is a suitable punishment for having consistently missed setting lineups.
This will be an important decision as it can set the standard for future cases.
Reminder, the 6th round pick was removed first, and after a repeat violation, the punishment was upgraded to a 2nd round pick.
The tribunal this round would be Ubiquitous, Tiranis, and CCF.
Please have a decision as soon as possible.
Don't mean to start any **** but Brock failed to set his line-up 9 times before the first punishment was handed down on Dec 18th. I don't see why EV should be penalized for missing it 3 times.
Then he failed to set it 3 times in the course of the 2 weeks after the 6th pick was taken and that's when the punishment was upgraded.

Sorry, but could you please tell me which dates I missed then? Because when I counted I lost a 6th after 5 misses, and then it was upgraded to a 2nd after 2 more misses in the next 3 weeks.

It's just an official warning for EV....
If the line ups continue to not be set, then EV will be penalized.
SK has once again violated the streaming policy this week.
6 adds this week when the limit is 3.
Any injury adds we should be aware of? The addition of Hornqvist and putting him on IR in my opinion should not count as an injury addition.....you're adding an "already" injured player. I don't know if the rest of the league would follow my view...it's up for debate.
CCF and I have decided to upgrade the original streaming punishment of a 6th rounder to a 4th rounder.

Sunday counts for next week, does it not? He's adding players that won't get a chance to play until tomorrow. Doesn't make sense to count Sunday adds for this week since then you could technically make it so you can add 6 players for one week (3 on Sunday, then 3 more anytime during the week).

From what I remember, Sunday does not count for next week.
However...we need someone to update the CBA...so I don't have to search through old posts for a long time.
I will look it up...and thanks for the heads up...we will clarify it now.
Either way, I think the spirit of the rule is to stop people from gaining an unfair advantage in games played. Counting Sunday as part of the week prior would go against the spirit of that rule and should probably be changed immediately. Otherwise a person can get a bunch of extra starts every 2 weeks.
Doesn't make sense to me to punish him for doing something that in no way affects the league and gains him no advantage.
Technically it doesn't effect this week. Either way that would be 3 adds for this week + 3 adds for "next" week... So if he isn't in violation this week he cant do anything else next week.
