I thought like this too, but I got no inquiries at all on my end after posting three days ago, so not much I can do unless I aggressively try to go out and sell him. The buyers aren't really out there.

I'm giving serious consideration to kicking LS from the league on the grounds of lack of hockey knowledge.

He might be overrated but Hansen + 1st for Ott is a gigantic overpayment. Horrible.

Seems like there is going to be a lot of overpayments.

I'd rather have them stand pat on offense and get a dman

He is ready to lead that team into battle NOW. They need to accelerate their rebuild to align with this.

No kidding man, watching him carry that sad sack franchise to relevance is amazing. I think you could argue the case that he's the best player in the world right now simply because he's virtually the entire Islanders team right now. Him and Nabokov. If he ever gets talent to play with or the Islanders decide to ice more than an AHL line-up, Johnny T is going to be up on Crosby/Malkin's level.

Not to mention, he's made like 70 point producers out of Matt Moulson and P.A. Parenteau.

sup guys....looks like I'm gonna make the playoffs (shocking I know...) so I'm looking for a couple rentals as we approach the deadline.

Looking for underrated players, the Teddy Purcell, P.A. Parenteau or Joffrey Lupuls of the world (although I guess Lupul's value has gotten pretty high now) because I'm only looking to deal late picks for rentals and if anyone is interested in Leddy he's available too. Looking to deal picks from round 7 or 8 and below, would also be willing to deal a higher pick (3rd or 4th) for a pair of rentals and a later pick coming back to me.

Again if you're out of the playoffs and have some underrated point producers, preferably with good +/-s gimme a shout cause instead of getting nothing for these guys I can give you a little value.

I'm looking to upgrade on some of my marginal players in hopes of competing in the playoffs. Most of my picks are available, I have some rookies, and some keepers might also become available — if the upgrade is big enough. Also, I would like to find a decent rental goalie if possible; however, I'm not going to give up an arm and a leg for one.

Biggest needs are D and G, after that LW/RW.

So what's our rule with spot starts? Are we allowed one per week? I would like to drop Desharnais and add another player but not sure if I can since I just picked him up yesterday.

Here's hoping Bob and Nabokov are on new teams in the morning.

You're still allowed to have 1 spot start per week.

This dragged on a little longer than I had hoped because I wanted to get final word from the other tribunal members, but regarding Brock's appeal for his inactivity punishment the tribunal (Tiranis, Ubi, and Myself) have decided to lessen Brock's punishment from a 2nd round pick to a 3rd round pick.

We all feel Brock was clearly in violation of the rule, however, upon further review we agreed that a 2nd round pick was a bit too steep of a punishment.

The matter is now closed.
