Garpenlov

Hey guys, I explored NHL Vault for a bit the other day and found a classic game with an infamous play in Sharks history but that I couldn't find anywhere but on there. So I just wanted to give you all a heads up that I uploaded it on Youtube, for future use. Not sure where I should post, I don't feel like it's a Sharks News/Note so I'm gonna give it it's own thread for now, it's not like it'll be the biggest waste of a thread spot in any board's history

Edit : Yeah, there's a bit of extra length on there, but it's not like we have an overload of footage of those times

Damn it, why did I watch that, now I'm sad. Man, that season could have been so much more magical than it already was. Although really, looking back at it (and hearing those names), how on Earth were we so close to making the conference finals? I mean, Vlasti Kroupa? Really?

Irbe, and a few others' contributions, but Kroupa, man, out of curiosity went to check some players' production... he was -8 in those playoffs...

2 inches away from the Conference Finals. Vancouver that year would have been a different story. Not sure if they could have taken them or the Rangers down, but we will never know

Of course, more frustrating is Ozo not shooting. At least Garpenlov TRIED to win the game. God damn it.

I'd like to see the beauty goal that was a perfect team passing play where everyone touched it. I believe it was the game winner from the same toronto series.

I remember hearing how impressed the fans in toronto (i think) were.

Based from the box score and my fuzzy memory, it was either the game winner in game one of the Toronto series or an entirely different series.

Game One isn't available, oh well sorry man, I tried, it sounded like our 6th goal against the Blue Jackets on January 31st, where all the players touched it that time too, except that was CBJ in mid-season and with a team that's supposed to be able to pull it off
