Lucas Wallmark going undrafted is a stunner, also Viktor Arvidsson & Ebbe Siönäs not drafted is notable

Alexander Henriksson is probably worth a late selection aswell

Can't believe Wallmark wasn't drafted. Sure he's small, sure he's not the best of skaters, BUT he's one of the youngest players in the draft and probably one of the five most skilled Swedish forwards. Especially now when you have four years before you need to sign the guy.

But I'm not surprised about Siönäs. Small goalies have an uphill battle. Arvidsson, well he can be signed through free agency anyway.

Aw, no Arvidsson this year either? Little guys can't catch a break!
Wallmark, guess there's a reason Skellefteå let him go.

Same thing with Jesper Pettersson, I guess. It's too bad, he plays like a much bigger guy, but the height is all they see probably.

Wallmark not getting drafted is a stunner for me. I've noticed throughout the season that he doesn't get as much credit as he's due but I didn't believe for a second that he wouldn't get picked.

I can totally see why Ebbe Siönäs is not getting drafted. My viewings on Ebbe has been terrible to be honest. His rebound-control is just plain awful.

Perhaps we shouldn't complain as SEL-fans though.

Djuse was also someone I thought would get picked up in one of the last rounds.

I guess that injury had a part in him not being drafted. I'm sure he would have shown other wise that his size is not that big of an issue for him. But 5,9 will probably always be a huge turn off for NHL, especially when it comes to a defender.

He's the guy I'm looking forward to see the most next season.

Thoughts on Andreas Johnson from Frolunda?

I've heard he has very good skill.

Probably not, hopefully it means we get to keep them here a bit longer!

Very good skills but average skater for undersized forward.

I know a bit about Westlund, but could a Farjestad fan or fans of other SEL teams give me a bit of info on him?

Number of swedish players picked top 60 over the last 18 drafts:

1996-2001 - 18
2002-2007 - 18
2008-2013 - 48

The 2018 olympic hockey team will have pretty great depth..
