I wonder if a faster defenseman than Hamrlik could've got there in time to take out Pyatt or otherwise do something about that situation. Either way, I am not a fan of Mr. Hamrlik at this point in his career.

I just can't tell. Hamrlik seemed not only slow but a little lackadaisical on that deal. Maybe no one could've done anything there but I can't tell from the replay.

Capitals need to start holding in the neutral zone. The Lightning are allowed to do it, so they should do it too.

On the Tampa feed, they pointed out this is the Caps' sixth game in 9 nights, five of which have been on the road I think they said.
