LOL

Our counter is Klingberg and Flood for Toews.
Are you suggesting Little is just as good as Toews?? Uhm, okay buddy. I didnt know Little was a top5 center in the league.

McNeil for Schenn is not even close, as 'douchey' as that sounds.

IF Schenn is moved, it's going to be for pieces that'll help us make the playoffs, or as part of a package for a bigger deal. Schenn is still young, and there's absolutely no need to move him, especially if the offers are that low.

Montoya would be cheaper but Nabokov is definitely better. If they can I think that they will sign Montoya to an extention.

He's not suggesting anything except that the first offer was insulting. If you take the Toews comment literally...

First offer, nowhere near as insulting as his offer.

I could see Toronto pursuing McNeill, Brian Burke personally scouted him prior to the draft last year. Maybe this @LeafCentral guy knows someone on the inside, I still believe it is a fake insider like the rest of them but I have to admit that Carlyle firing and Boudreau hiring was spot on and well in advance of everyone.

We wouldn't give you Saad for Grossman, what makes you think we'll give him to you for Burish ?

Also about the Schenn for McNeill rumour, Fels is just reporting the Leafsnation report. That said, Fels/the other guys at Second City Hockey, like the idea of acquiring Schenn a lot. I wouldn't give up McNeill for Schenn but I do not like Schenn at all, I think he's another Nick Leddy (that being a young dman who won't help us much THIS year but could be a really good dman down the line). I also think that McNeill is our 1 true chance at a 2C that we have in our system. Pirri doesn't have the size/skill you'd like and Kruger doesn't have the size but has shown a willingness to get into dirty places on the ice. No matter what happens, it's gonna be interesting in Chicago.

How about Burish, Benn and Josh Hamilton's alcohol and drug problems for Frolik. We'll stick them with Bickell

If you take Hamiltons injury problems and make him sign a 4 year 75 mil extension then done

Crawford's played well the past two games and Bowman's continued to say he's confident in his goaltending.

I call BS on this rumor.

I would love to have Mark McNeill on the Leafs (I wanted Burke to trade up and draft him last summer) but that would be a dumb trade for the Leafs. The only way they should even consider trading one of their young players is if they are getting better immediately.

Also, wouldn't it make more sense for the Hawks to go after a veteran rental with playoff experience than a guy who has never played a single playoff game and who is still developing?

Yup and when you factor in the whole Nash thing this could be about that but who knows rumors are just rumors that are fun to talk about.

How about Brett Clark? Chicago had interest in him last season.
