So, expect between 1 and 5 games or a fine.

I'd be surprised if he gets nothing.

I'm guessing 4 (which is fully deserved), but knowing our luck with Shanny, it'll be 8-10. He has yet to make sense in any of his decisions when it concerns this team.

Thanks for the vid Fel.

I'd say 2. First-time offender, and it was more like a face rub with a stick than an attempt to decapitiate. Backes embelished imo.

Watch Shanny breaking the phone hearing rule because he is a Wild player.

I swear, some of those Blues fans are some of the stupidest people I've ever had the displeasure of talking to.

Knowing Shanny, 10 games and Minnesota is forced to skate Zidlicky as extra punishment.

Well I didn't watch the game so I'm just going off of Fel's video, but Since it's a Wild player Shanascam will probably give him 7 games.

Honestly it looked bad, but not that bad.

Like I mentioned earlier, it can't be longer than 5 games since it's a phone hearing.

5 is the max Peters can get.

He shouldn't be suspended at all. I've seen much worse things done to Wild this season + Backes tried to kill Spurgeon before it happened. Peters' frustration is not only understandable, it's perfectly justified. I just wish he's concussed, because he seriously went for Spurgeon's head despite only seeing his numbers. What a ****ing *******.

I'm hoping he's gone for the rest of the season ... and Shanny suspends some other stone handed do-nothings from this squad for good measure.

Peters won't play today so that means he is suspended for at least 1 game.

Usually, we find out the suspension length on the night when the video is released.

5 games minimum. Peters isn't a superstar. The Wild are flyover country team, and since St. Louis is the latest golden child team, the league wants to make an example.

Funny, considering I've thought for the last 2 years that St. Louis is the cheapest team that no on talks about.

I mean it's not like Backes lifted Peters' stick into his face. Then we'd be talking at least twice this.

As a Blues fan I am very disappointed. 1 game? Really? I bet if that was some other teams top player like Toews or Datsyuk getting crosschecked to the dome he would have gave him some actual discipline instead of this little slap on the wrist. Total BS.

It's likely the lack of injury that softened the punishment, whether that is right or wrong (I think it's wrong), but it is what it is.
