I think Stastny is in Stephane Richer territory. His Devils tenure was good, but not enough to be great (although if we're talking about entire career, Stastny wins hands down).
I believe that the Devils aquiring Stastny is what turned this franchise around. He must be on the list!!!! LOL
That list looks better. But i have to disagree on two players. Sarge is way too low and Gomez too high. I will post my list later or tomorrow.
Tried to look past personal feelings, and focus on actual contributions as Devils. At the same time, only spent 10 minutes on this, so on a second look, I could bump Brylin higher. Also my edit explains some thinking on some guys as well.
I'd probably knock Gomez down a few spots, and Brylin up a few.

Nah, I think the hiring of Lou and Lou's hiring of Jim Schoenfeld were the beginnings of turning this franchise around, and getting Stevens is what ultimately did it. Stastny was on the decline, but still managed to put in 3 1/4 solid years here, but ultimately his greatness was with Quebec.

In my Top 25, all but Arnott (Cup winning goal & The A-Line though), Sundstrom & T-Dog played at least 400 games (and he had 300+ as mostly a backup) and that was an important consideration. Counting great AS Devils, not great players who happened to play a couple of good seasons, or a couple of great moments. And frankly, if you weren't around to appreciate the pre-Cups Devils, it's a lot harder to appreciate those guys.
Not even close. He'd have to win at least 3 cups here before he'd challenge Stevens.
yeah I dont think the top 5 will ever change, if we win some cups with Kovi he could move into 6-10 spot.
Kovi's gonna be here a longgg time so anything can happen in the next 10 years
