Just spoke to Ben Bishop, who is very excited to play tonight and not at all disappointed about starting his #Sens career in #AHL. #BSens.
BSens will use 11 forwards - 7 defensemen tonight against St. John's with Mark Parrish and Stéphane Da Costa not yet ready to play.
Because the skate was optional, I don't know for a fact that lines and defensive pairs will be the same tonight as they were in yesterday's practice, but here's a reminder of what those were, minus Parrish:
Lines
Derek Grant-Corey Locke-Mike Bartlett
Rob Klinkhammer-Wacey Hamilton-André Petersson
Mike Hoffman-Pat Cannone-David Dziurzynski
Jack Downing-Francis Lessard
D pairs
Mark Borowiecki-Eric Gryba
Dan Henningson-Tim Conboy
Patrick Wiercioch-Craig Schira
Josh Godfrey.
Via Joy.....
St. John's
IceCaps 53 33 13 5 2 73
A very good team 73 pts....
I wish the Sens & Ben Bishop well...........................
I was expecting a lot more comments in here on how Bishop did in his first game & win in a Bingo uniform last night. I heard he stood on his head & played great. What does everyone think about Murray's latest acquisition?

Aragorn:
Well here is what coach KK had to say about the game last nite.
Will add my insight about it later I am happy about last nites game.
"The Binghamton Senators announced they have re-assigned defenseman Bobby Raymond to his ECHL team, the Florida Everblades.
Raymond, who practiced with the B-Sens this morning at the Broome Community College Ice Center, will not arrive in time to play in the Everblades' game against the Kalamazoo Wings tonight.
This move is not a big surprise, as Raymond has been a healthy scratch for the B-Sens' last six games.
Raymond is minus-1 with four assists and 10 penalty minutes in 38 games with the B-Sens this season.
In eight games with the Everblades this season, he is even with two goals, three assists and six PIMs."
Ouch. You know you're lacking depth when Wacy Hamilton is your #2 C.
Well, that's not the way to look at things with how KK has managed his bench this year. His lines are "weird" to say the least.
Derek Grant and Pat Canonne are much better options for the 2nd line center spot than Wacey Hamilton and it's not even close really. I doubt that's how KK conceives his line-up though, I think he tries to spread his offense but sometimes it doesn't work well.
Even with Da Costa injured, Filatov gone and with O'Brien and Daugavins in the NHL, you can still make :
Top-9 is decent. We all know by now that "team defense" and "offense (includes breakout) from the blue-line" have been the biggest problems in Bingo this season. They score 2.71 goals per game on average, so offensive production is not the biggest problem.

So does this mean Mike McKenna, the #1 goalie this season cannot play in the playoffs.
If for some reason that Anderson cannot come back to play then that means either Lehner or Bishop would be with the Sens who would be the 2nd goalie in Bingo?

Starling's quote is your answer.
But if there is a call-up to an NHL club the AHL club can add a player to the roster to backfill, which means McKenna could play until either Ottawa was eliminated from the NHL playoffs, or Anderson comes off of injured reserve which would require Lehner to be sent down.
