Seguin's absense from practice

Quote:
* Tyler Seguin didnít practice. Claude Julien declined to reveal the nature of Seguinís absence. The second-year NHLer will play tomorrow against the Wild, said Julien.
Anyone have any rumors, ideas, or theories on this?

Think there is anything to it? Usually if it is a maintenance day or whatnot, Julien will say so...

Maybe he's simply banged up. Certainly never going to admit that, especially considering recent events.

Claude usually admits that it is a "maintenance day" in those cases...

well apparently they were adamant that he was playing tomorrow, so I doubt he just blew off practice or whatever. I'm sure at this point everyone is banged up and Seguin has been one of the harder working Bruins over the last few weeks so I wouldn't be surprised if he was just given the day off.

Like I said, w/ everyone dropping like flies, trade deadline approaching, perhaps he changed his maintenance day MO to "no comment".

Just guessing.

Didn't he take 108.8 to the balls 2 games ago? That could still be hurting

Not sure what model it was but all I remember was that I could lease it for just $629 a month! Wish I had that kind of money to spend.

Ugly, the least the producers could do was have the two Luongo`s hold their sticks right

Seeing as Seguin is perhaps already as good as Nash, I sure hope not haha

My guess is he is either a little banged up and needs some rest or it is some kind of personal matter that is team approved. I agree that at this point the team is unlikely to admit if an active roster player has a hangnail much less an injury.

As for commercials-I have almost decided that hockey players make awful actors and spokespersons. The best commercials are those where they don't actually have to talk. There are a few exceptions but for the most part they just seem awkward and like they would rather be anywhere other than reading that script.

To be fair, has there ever been a commercial for a local car dealer that wasn't terrible? Jolly John comes to mind for those in Maine...

Banged up, he took a hit up high late in the game and was very slow to get to the bench.

Sounds like the Hollywood stars to me. But I digress...

Are you ****ing kidding me????

I wouldn't trade Seguin for Nash straight up, Seguin is untouchable and is out scoring Nash already at 20 years old.
