Columbus can keep him. If Nash was that good they wouldn't be last.

don't laugh the trade actually had Hamilton and a first instead of McQuaid.

I know this would qualify as Official Bruins Fanboy comment of the week- but based on what the Boston Bruins are and the symbolism and skills Milan Lucic has I would not trade him even up for Nash.

Nash is overpaid and although I like him as a player I've never been in love with him.

His contract is horrible imo and I defer to many more here that know more than me about this guy and that contract and the HF Trade Talk thread has a lot of posts from people I like to read and they are echoing this- they don't want to get screwed twice- once on the payout in players and pickss and the second on the payment of cap dollars

We get soft pretty quickly if that were to happen.

I wouldn't do it.

My only offer would be one of KREJCI or MARCHAND, RASK and our 1st in 2012. I would throw in CARON if they wanted a bone but they would have to add pending UFA D-man Aaron JOHNSON.

Seguin and a first for Nash, Johansen, Carter, and the rights of the Columbus Blue Jackets franchise.

Unfortunately, we're not getting Nash without Hamilton, Seguin, or Rask leaving most likely. He might be a lot better in Boston, 80+ points playing wit Bergy/Krejci, but I don't think he's worth it.

Agree with the speculation that Seguin didn't practice due to being a little banged up.

[QUOTE=Crossfire
Didn't he take 108.8 to the balls 2 games ago? That could still be hurting[/QUOTE]

No kidding...who wouldn't need some time off?. Of all the places to get hit by a Chara shot.

Hey, just noticed that my iPhone autocorrects Chara with "Character"...how fitting!

Was that when Cole retaliated after a clean hit from Seguin? Cole just turned around and took a run at Seguin a mile from the puck and right in front of a linesman with no call...

Do you people actually believe that there is a chance the Bruins get Nash or are you just bored? Every year it's the same thing on these boards and the Bruins never get anybody that the posters think they will.

They will make a depth move at most.

DKH I share your feelin about the Globe article which lays out a massive overpayment for Nash. That proposal is ridiculous.

I know where you are coming from with Lucic but I would make that trade still. Nash is overrated, but he is still a reliable 35 goal scorer with this team, and I'd argue they could use the reliable offense a bit more that the lucic intangibles. I would rather move Krejci, but I would deal Lucic for Nash.

The thought of including one of those guys AND Rask though is laughable.

Dupont would dance with joy if the Bruins ever traded Lucic.

I wouldn't do Seguin for Nash straight up.

Honestly, I wouldn't do Seguin for anyone in the league straight up.
