They clearly felt sorry for the Jackets.

That's pathetic.

Maybe because it's just the nature of an 82 game season but NHL officials are atrocious.

how the hell is Toronto gonna explain this one? Do they have their own version of the clock that supercedes the one on the scoreboard? and since it was called no-goal and the period ended, can they go back on that call at all? or is it just done-and-done? bull****

I am absolutely baffled. I don't think I have ever been more confused on a no goal...

Same thing happened in the playoffs. The puck crossed the line at 0:01 but the "official" clock said 0:00...kinda suspicious that it's happened to us twice

didnt something like this happen last season?
Toronto must go by a different clock than the one that was shown in the replays we all saw.

What clock was that then? If there's more than one clock, shouldn't they be sync'd?

Something like this, I know there is a very small difference between the clocks.

This has happened to us before. The explanation then was that the clock that we saw is not completely synchronized with the game clock and has a margin of error.

This is the only reason I can think of.

Then why is that clock used at all? It does not make sense.

It's a very simple answer guys. Bill Leavy now works in the replay room in Toronto.

I just watched it again on my DVR frame by frame. The clock definitely hit zero before the puck crossed. Whatever clock they on that overhead replay was flat out wrong.

that's the only thing i could think of but why the hell aren't the clocks synced up? that's just dumb. what sort of viewing experience are they giving the fans if they just put up rough estimates of what the relevant numbers actually are?

If they use different clocks it's just to rationalize screwing teams they don't want to win. Rangers better pull one off to **** Toronto and the refs who always screw them

I think MSG network screwed up.

You can't see the 00.1 second on screen. It just shows 00.

That's what the folks in Toronto saw...

They're not sync'd they are a fraction of a second off. Can't remember when this came up last I think I was during a game last season.
