I assume that's the reason why he's playing.

Please just kill me now.

PREDICTION: I put more effort into this GDT than the Wild will put into this game.

Lines I'm hoping for today..

Christiansen-Cullen-Setoguichi
Heatley-Brodziak-Johnson
Powe-Almond-Clutterbuck
Taffe-Rau-Kassian/Ortmeyer

I really hope Yeo puts Christiansen in the top 6. The guy has been invisible since he has gotten here, but in his defense we haven't used him properly at all. The guy has success playing with other skilled players and he is afriad of contact...so we put him on the third line with MacMillan and Clutterbuck

I'd be happy if we score more than one goal and play like we give a ****. We'll see if Setoguichi can stay hot. I think we are going to get pushed around today. Bruins are an extremely physical team, and if we play how we did last night we will get killed.

So Zidlicky is in and Lundin goes on IR. Wonder which Dman is scratched today? Zanon, Scandella, Faulk or Prosser?

With Zidlicky playing today I guess this means that Yeo has concluded that Zids is now "all-in." That was Yeo's litmus test on playing Zids again. Or was he kidding when he said that?

It could be more Fletcher than Yeo. I would imagine Falk comes out tonight. Honestly with how terrible we looked last night offensively, and Koivu being out again we need to inject offense into our lineup anyway we can. Specifically Zids drastically helps the PP. It allows us to have Cullen-Zids and Scandella-Spurgeon as PP pairings. I mean 13 shots last night... you knew changes were going to come.

ANyone watching the Blues/Chicago game? The announcers have referred to Minnesota as Columbus 4 times already today.

"Backes crosschecked by Columbus player in head"
"Blues got another shutout versus Columbus yesterday"
"Jackman ends goal drought against Columbus yesterday"
etc. etc.

We are now so bad, that we = Columbus.

by the way, the game will be 5-0 Boston. Hell, I turned down free tickets to this game, because I know the Wild willget destroyed, and at least at home I can change the channel.

Awesome GDT thread !

You guys have really been upping the ante lately.

In fact I look more forward to the GDT than the games now.

Falk is a victum of Zanons contract. I would rather have Falk in there against the B's because he brings the element of toughness and size our D seriously lacks.

Well worth the effort. Very nice GDT! Love Yogi!

Peverley's out w/MCL sprain. Likely lines for Bs:

Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Benoit Pouliot
Daniel Paille-Chris Kelly-Jordan Caron
Gregory Campbell-Josh Hennessy-Shawn Thornton

First....love the GDT. Good stuff.

I'm a Minnesota boy born and raised, so I always like the chance to see the Wild play....although for sure, it's been tough to follow the last year or so. I looked up the standing the other day and was flabbergasted as how quickly they've tumbled in the standings.

To let you know, Rich Peverly is out 4-6 weeks with an MCL, so that changes the Bruins' first line makeup. You'll likely have the Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin line as the #1, then Lucic-Krejci-Pouliot, followed by Daniel Paille-Chris Kelly-Jordan Caron and finally Gregory Campbell-Josh Hennessy-Shawn Thornton.

No goalie posted yet, but I think it would be TT.

Realistically, you're catching the Bruins at a good time. As I said, they're down two forwards. Plus, Chara's a mess; he's been on the ice for the last six Bruin goals given up, and I think he's hurting. I know the Wild are down Koivu, as well as their other injuries, but I should think it'll be closer than either side anticipates.

Good luck Wild fans....hopefully the crowd at the X is pumped, and they see a good game with no injuries for either side.

Well I'm not feeling the best today so I guess I'll watch the game. I don't know if my illness will get worse or not.

Well, it looks like I'm going to sit down and watch this.

At least, until my dad gets home and thinks his non-history-related shows on History channel are more important than watching the Wild lose.

I hate not having a TV at home but bringing it back and forth from my dorm is just not going to happen
