Heika alludes that Lehtonen is the one asking to start these B2Bs. Of course its the coaching staff's decision but..

I know Gully has said in the past that Lehtonen has said he feels good and wants to start. Can really argue about it that much, because he's been unreal most of the season.

they should be desperate. Without Lehts in net this team is way out of any sort of playoff race.

Sure you can. It's the wrong move. Coaching in desperation is not sustainable. There's a cost to everything. Kari might play well in the short-term, but you'll pay for it in the long-term.

Is there any actual news that he's starting though? I haven't seen it.

Just a guess, but I think the Stars might go with Kari Lehtonen again in goal tonight. He seemed to be asking for the start. We'll see.
and stepneski tweeted him something back about starting goaltenders being like addictive drugs

Very reminiscent of Tippett trying to shift the decision-making and responsibility to Turco. "Well, he said he's feeling OK, and who am I to argue" etc. etc.

Beat me to it.

Only difference here being Lehtonen's still putting up solid numbers. Tippett's stubborn insistence to completely ignore Stephan and keep riding a crappy Turco led to his own firing.

Do we still have the student rush tickets? I might end up going to this game and driving to new orleans tomorrow instead

Dallas has beaten Nashville handily thus far this season.
Ribs averaged 2 points a game in those 2 wins; 3 goals and 1 assist.
Even more so, Benn was involved in none of them.
I'm feeling a big night from him.

A good feeling that we're going to slip in the standings?

Nah I'm kidding we have Nashville's number for whatever reason.
