Peckham hasn't added toughness this season IMO, he's been especially gun shy in the toughness department. On the other side of the coin this might be Hordichuk's last shot at the Canucks in his NHL career for all we know.

He loves playing tough against the young guys but not so much against the guys that can handle themselves. Not that he can't fight and is a wuss or anything, but that act grows tiresome after awhile.

If you sit Hemsky 'cause you don't think he'll be able to survive a hockey game, that's not really saying much for the durability of your trade asset.

That is such a pathetic attitude.

I know we're bad this year, but I'd rather be bad and beat good teams than be bad and consistently beat other bad teams. It's interesting when we beat VAN/DET/CHI/NSH

Best GDT evvaaaa! Well done IATL.

Such a great day today. Guaranteed regulation loss night.....don't get any better than that for Oiler fans.

Brought to you by the commitee for a better longterm Oiler future- A win is actually a loss, and a loss is actually a win for the Oilers wildest lottery dreams this coming summer.

I thought Hordichuk had been buried with Jimmy Hoffa. It's been a while since he saw the light of day.

Dear god I hope so, even if we lose which we will, I want to take a strip or two out of their hides.

I hate getting pushed around, and even more so by teams I hate.

I don't think this is an automatic loss. Sure the Canucks are a better team, but there's no reason the Oilers can't beat them or anyone for that matter, on any given night. I'm not about to put money on Edmonton, but I'll still watch hoping for a good game.

2-w 2-L this yr 1 was in over time so this might not be as bad as some are thinking, just hope the sedin's get called on there picks, watched a bit of the canucks leafs last night and every time someone was going for the puck carrier one of them would semi hook them at the feet never getting called for it

On the flip side, you probably have two working legs, so it all evens out.

He was really tough in the playoffs last year when he mocked Scott for being a dumb tough guy, then jumped an unsuspecting Euro and beat the crap out of him.

Bieksa always takes shots at skilled players and mocks them if they wont fight him. Yet he wont step up when a guy his size and ability challenges him. He is a good fighter against guys who have no cllue how to fight. He knee on Hall earlier this year is a prime example. He is the one that knees Hall, Hall yells at him for it and Bieksa challenges him to a fight. Coward.

Can't lose them all.

If so, win this one.

Canucks are playing their best hockey of the year right now, best Oilers will do is hang around as per Kruger game plan 5-2 Nucks

He's found a loophole. He made the initial tweet up:

Ryan Whitney @ryanwhitney6
Thanks babe, miss you too RT @KateUpton: happy birthday to my boo @ryanwhitney6 can't wait to see you again!

What a champ. Then she actually replied.

Kate Upton @KateUpton
@ryanwhitney6 hahah good one happy birthday

Kruger is just reading the script prepared for him by Renney.

I cant freaking wait until we have a coach that designs a system that can be best used to make the most out of the assets that this team has. Trying to play not to lose against every team you play has to be a lot harder on the young players than telling them to go out there and play to their strengths.

I bet Horcoff plays 24 minutes tonight and is a -3.

Ryan Whitney is a freaking awesome dude.

Notice the attitude difference between him and Hemsky.

The team has been lacking guys like him since Greene and Sakic left.
