I'm no doctor, but that definitely looks like a torn ACL for Shumpert.

What a horror show.

They were never beating the Heat.

Should have won in Cleveland to get the 6th seed.

Rose has a torn ACL.

Shumpert probably has one too.

This franchise is cursed.

All i want for them is to win a game at MSG.

The blowout is a little disconcerting, but Chandler isnt 100 pct. Let the guy rest. I might not even play him in game 2.

The Knicks can very well win two games at MSG.

Was going to DVR it and watch it after the Rangers, thank God I didn't. At one point it was 30-29 Heat, what an implosion.

Honestly I wanted them to tank the last two games so we'd get Chicago because Rose has pretty much been hurt all year and it looks like he tore his ACL, too.

Going to Game 6 so hoping they win a couple...

Really don't think so.

That whole Heat team gets up for MSG.

The Heat were 18-15 on the road this season.

Their win at MSG was close throughout.

"Getting up for MSG?"

Whatever that means.

Doesn't matter, we were gonna get swept.

A ****ed up Tyson means Lebron and Wade get to run wild against us. Add in the fact they both play good D and Carmelo isn't scoring 40 a night.

If they go down 3-0, really hoping Lin doesn't push it, and come back if he is not 100%.

.

It means getting excited to play at MSG.

This happens with a lot of players. Kobe, Lebron, etc... Even lesser players.

They love playing at MSG. They usually bring their "A" game.
Don't look for them to have an off night.

Hey, guess what. Now there are two teams in NY with star players who tried to get their coach fired. The only difference is one is teamed with moron/walking injury Amare Stoudemire, and the other is probably going to be teamed with Dwight Howard. (Well that, and Deron Williams is better than Carmelo Anthony. Plus, only one of them actually got their coach fired.) Maybe you should show how tired you are of a pathetic organization and give someone else a try.

I switched to these guys on January 22, 1999. I've been pretty happy with my decision.

Look at it this way, when you get your refund you can put that money towards some Rangers tickets.

Amar'e is a serious idiot.

Last year he hurts his back doing fancy dunks in warmups prior to gm 2.

Now he punches glass after gm 2.

Not only does he have knee and back issues, but possibly mental issues.

I was actually going to make a whole post about how you are wrong, and that you should stick with your team even when they suck, but I actually think I agree with you.

Its one thing giving up on your team for reasons like: they're going through a tough time financially, they play in a small market and can't afford free agents, or they're just going through a transition period when they're flat out bad. Switching your team for THOSE reasons I do not agree with.

But it is another thing when you are a fan of a team that plays in the biggest city in the U.S., has the most fans of any team in the U.S. (outside of maybe the Lakers/Bulls), makes a TON of money and has a TON of resources, can afford ANY player they want, AND THEY STILL HAVE BEEN TERRIBLE FOR 12 YEARS. And haven't won a playoff game since 2001!

This is just ridiculous. The management for this team has been SO POOR and nothing has been done to fix it. Its like Dolan is just standing up on the rafters collecting everyone's money and pissing on them. I am seriously considering rooting for another team. I'm sorry. Dolan doesn't deserve my money for the Knicks. The Rangers, yes because he has stayed away from the franchise and let other people run it, but the Knicks HELL NO.

I switched in 99 because I was disgusted by the moves the Knicks were making at the time, and I predicted (almost entirely on target, I might add), that they were going to be absolutely awful for years to come. I didn't realize just how awful, but I had the right idea. The Spurs had always been my favorite Western Conference team (big David Robinson fan as a kid), and I figured they were going to be good for a while when I decided to become an all-out Spurs fan. Again, I had no idea just how good they'd be.

It's such a pleasure being a fan of a team where you never doubt the moves being made by the manager, and you have complete faith in the coaching because you have the league's best coach. About the only personnel mistakes they've made in the last decade are signing Richard Jefferson and not holding on tighter to Luis Scola.

I don't know if there is a more fun player to watch in this league than Manu Ginobili. Tony Parker is not far behind. Some people might think Tim Duncan is boring, but I find nothing boring about the fact that he quietly, simply, routinely proves that he's one of the best players to ever play the game in a multitude of ways.

I just love watching the San Antonio Spurs play. They are dynamic, they evolve, they've beaten people with wildly different strategies and systems. They're basketball at its best.

I'm glad he's injured.

Not from a physical standpoint. I'm glad because the Knicks are a better team without him.

There isnt a soul in the world who knows which Amare will show up on a given night. At least with Melo, you have somewhat of an idea.

The guy is hurt and playing hurt. Shut him down. Shut him down now, and keep Lin shut down as well.
