I hate Marv and Reggie, too.

Also, the Knicks aren't beating the Heat in a 7 game series. Not happening.

Lin was garbage tonight. But you would think one of the other two would show up.

I guess the only good takeaway from this game is that the Knicks were tired and traveled while Miami was rested, had a horrible game from everybody, turned the ball over almost 20 times and was hanging around for most of the game.

I think they have a better chance vs Chicago. imo

Only because Chicago struggles to score.

Don't lie, you love both because they hate the Knicks.

Although, I do love Marv.

Bad game. Didn't expect them to win it - knew Lin would be challenged. Heat PISSED to have the national spotlight taken from them. In their arena.

Looking forward to seeing the next game after the break now that Lin's been through the circus once and the team'll have some practice time. Also, I think the absence of Shump's defensive game was telling - need him back.

No, I love Marv because he's one of the greatest broadcasters of all-time, and I grew up listening to him call Knick games. Marv has good reason to hate the Knicks, and what they did to him is just more evidence of how messed up they are as an organization. Petty and stupid.

I hated Reggie as a kid, but as I got older I realized how great a player he was, and since he became a broadcaster, I've learned that he's one of the most intelligent players on the court and off of it. He provides great insight. He's a little cocky at times, but he has interesting things to say during games and in studio. The Turner Sports crew is the best broadcasting bunch in sports.

No way. Reggie is 100% biased against the Knicks. That's not his job. He's obnoxious.

What do you mean biased against them? He doesn't like them, and why should he?They're a pathetic franchise, and they offer plenty of reasons to be "biased" against them. Am I biased towards the Spurs or the Nuggets or the Bulls or the Thunder? I don't think so. I like them, but they've offered me reasons to like them. They deserve respect. The Knicks deserve another 5 years of mediocrity. It's really a shame that Lin is going to bail them out of yet another series of mystifyingly moronic moves.

Reggie Millier is not bias against the Knicks because they are a "pathetic franchise".
That's your opinion. Not Reggie's....

He's a former Pacer who were rivals of the Knicks back in the day. THAT'S why he hates the Knicks.

Just like Jordan dislikes the Knicks. Or any other former rival player of the Knicks.

As for Marv. He's still bitter that Dolan canned him.

I wouldnt say he's 100 pct biased, but he certainly has an ax to grind. And rightfully so.

I mean, the things he was called by the fans was out of control. They used to chant "Ethiopia" and "Cheryl"

These guys are human. Sometimes you can tell when guys are biased and when they're not. Marv was definitely riding the Miami dick last night, but they are the best team in the conference.

I grew up with Marv doing radio for the rangers and TV for the Knicks.

Personally, I thought Howie Rose was 10 times better on the Radio for the Rangers, and I think Breen destroys him on TV. Breen doesnt have that fake, doctored announcers voice. Marv's from friggin Brooklyn. In my almost 40 years living here, I never met anyone who sounds like he does.

Jim Karvellas was an icon IMO...

"Butler at the line....he bends....he shooots.....IT'S good!!!"

"Tucker...for three..................BULLSSSSSSSSEYE!!!"

Great comeback win.

Lin 19/13 and only 1 TO. Probably one of his best games so far. And Novak is nuts.

It's amazing how this team went having one of the worst depth to now argurably one of the best.

Davis
Smith
Shumpert
Novak
Jeffries
Harrelson

Man, I love this team.

The best thing about the bench...? The way they're going and the way they HAVE to play team ball and defense (even guys like Davis and Smith) in order to stay in the game forces the first unit to do the same. LOVED that he kept the 6-10 guys in for extended minutes in the 4th.

So, do we trade TD and Walker? Gotta keep big Jorts, but where does he get his minutes?

It's like too much left handed pitching - good problem to have.

Im not sure if TD + Walker can net much, if anything lol.

If they can get some sort of draft pick i'd do it.

We need to explore a trade with TD (who is very young and still has value) and harrellson (could develop into a very good role player) for a Big man of the bench..I understand jeffries can defend all positions but we need a good backup center of the bench, because that 2nd unit is a very small lineup...

Btw what knicks inside guys can I follow on twitter? I used to follow alan hahn but he works for msg studios now

Jeffries has been great this season. I think he backs up Chandler well, but agreed, getting a serviceable big man would be good. I also wouldn't give up Harrelson. I like him and feel he's a godo depth guy to have and plays solid D.

And good Knicks guys to follow, well, there aren't many lol. Hahn is good, Isola is a clown and same with Berman, but i'd follow them just for some info they may provide. Follow the national NBA media guys like Yahoo Woj., Berger, Coon, Broussard, Beck. Marc Stein from ESPN is also really good. ESPN usually sucks, but he breaks a lot of stuff.

Top two most hated players by Knicks fans in the 90s...

Reggie Miller
Michael Jordan

Knicks and Pacers rivalry was big in the 90s

Lin having an atrocious game.

I just don't see anything from the Knicks to make me think they'll do anything in the playoffs.

And the sad thing is a Knicks loss will get more coverage than a Rangers win.

Dantoni won't be the knicks head coach next year if they get eliminated in the first round again.

Can Torts please become the Knicks coach, too, and bench Amare for his atrocious D?
