I wish I had filmed my reaction because it would've made a great gif. Oh well, I'm very happy with this, wonder about the cap hit, though.

Was it up there with Scandella's post-game reaction?

Very happy about this. Hopefully, as others have said, the dollar amount isn't too crazy, but it's great to have Brodziak in the organization for another 3 years.

Perhaps not quite, but it was pretty hardcore thrusting. Duffman would be jelly.

If that is what the amount is:
#1. I'll be pissed off.
#2. We should've traded him before the deadline.

Kyle Brodziak has signed a three-year contract extension at what I'm hearing is worth around $2.83 million a year.
Per Russo.

For those who aren't math-inclined, it would be 3 years, $8.5 M

Oh and it seems we got our top 3 lines pretty much set for next year.

Meh, not a terrible price tag. Could've been worse. I'm still happy.

2.83/64 for Brodziak? Fine by me. Even if he is our 3rd line center. I bet he'd get more than that if he hit FA.

I'm not mad at the caphit. He'd probably get over 3 as a free agent, I'd say.

That's a fair price. Brodziak deserves this. Good news for the Wild going forward.

2.83 is not a bad price tag, I'd prefer to see $2.5, but there isn't anything wrong with this contract at this point in time. I don't think having too many centers will be a problem since I believe Cullen can just slide over to a wing, and he's a versatile guy. I hope his effort rubs off on some of the young guys, I'd like to see Larsson mold his game after Brodzy with a little bit more of a scoring touch.

About 16 mill in cap space next year providing we don't trade Zidlicky now.
Probably 3 of that goes to Granlund's rookie contract and the rest to defense and goaltending.
