I'm honestly very curious about how he'd do as a captain. I mean, he has all the tools needed to be a Flyer captain. Now that he's actually using all his skill, is he the Rick Tocchet of this team? The Primeau of this team? The Flyer-est Flyer?

Making him captain is not a good idea. He is not a captain/ leader. He is a chemistry/ keep guys loose type of player. you need your captain to be serious and no nonsense, but equally imporant is a player like Hartnell who can boost morale and keep guys jovial.
