Per Staple:
Poulin starts, Okposo in lineup. Nabby out with flu and won't make trip to Buffalo? Hamonic skating today at Iceworks

I thought Montoya would get the start. I know Montoya was terrible against the Blues but Poulin let in a couple soft ones on Saturday

Wow, Nabby must have one monster of a stomach bug. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though, nobody wants their starting goalie puking on the ice.

I have nothing against Okposo, but I was hopiing he'd miss today's game. My understanding is that Nino would have been moved up to the 1st or 2nd line. I really want to see what he can do with competant linemates.

I guess today's game will be brought to me via DVR, since I have to work.

LET'S GO ISLANDERS!!!

Very happy to see Poulin get the start. I think for Bridgeports sake we should send Montoya down and ride Nabby/Poulin for the rest of the season. If he gets claimed on waivers, so be it

Montoya is just the odd man out at this point. He played pretty good when he had the chance! Minus that St. Louis game.

When Nabokov is back, he will get 90% of the starts. Poulin needs to be playing for his development.

He's been scratched a lot. I know, but this board thinks he is the greatest fourth liner of all time!

I assume Montoya plays tomorrow night. Since he was awesome in the other game in Buffalo.

Game of significant importance being played today? Yes.

I predict a loss.

not sure why Nabby isnt even traveling at this point. If he really has the flu cant he feel better tonight or tomorrow? Something seems fishy? Then if hes better do we put a cold Nabby in against the hot rangers Friday? Ughh

Nabby must have made those comments to Newsday while picking his head up from the toilet. Yeah, he really wants to be here.

Why would they start Z against us? They have other guys to push us around and he won't he's friends with them.

I expect another hose jobs from the refs. Anyime we get close to a 7 or 8th or 9th team from Canada, the resf start hosing us. I expect more of the same here. Last time against the Jets, we beat the refs. Hopefully that have 2 in a row over the refs in them.

Flying with the flu can be pretty painful. Not to mention that if he hasn't been able to eat/keep anything down for a couple of days, he wouldn't be able to play 60 minutes at a high level tomorrow night.

Awesome continuation GDT Law! You should do an Inglorious Basterds One for our next streak!

Huge Game, lots of weaknesses at D and in the net (Love Poulin but he's young), Isles are going to have to REALLY want this one to have a decent chance.

It's time for JT to do his magic. Can't afford an absent Tavares today.

Law, your GDT is a Royale with Cheese!

Big game today as always. Need the points so it doesn't matter how we get 2 since Ottawa is way ahead.
