Is there a chance we blow the Division lead?

If the Senators win today (up 3-0 after 1) over the Islanders, they will be 2 points behind but the B's hold 4 games in hand. I have a feeling this Saturday's game in Ottawa is gonna be huge.

If they lose the two games to Ottawa coming up, yes.

Was there a chance that the Red Sox would miss the playoffs entering September? Sure.

Yes there is a chance of course there is a better chance they won't. Although how much better is up for debate at this point.

there's a chance, but i will say that not only do i think they won't, all they really need to do is get healthy and make the playoffs, The rest is on their mental toughness

I can see Ottawa pass the Bruins but Boston has to many games in hand and its not like they sucked last two games- thought eye ball test they could have won both games and certainly got points

Love the Bruins but it would be kind of funny to think the Sens the last week of Feb or first week of March are ahead of Boston based on the preseason mag rankings and how bad everyone thought the Sens would be

Can we lose it, not only can they lose it, I expect it. Until we get Horton back we are not much of a team.....It's a cascade effect due to our laughable depth or complete lack of depth.

It can happen easy,Bruins are thin right now and have very futile shooters,Chia have some tough thoughts this week coming .,

I don't think we will finish ahead of you guys for two reason: 1)Bruins have 4 games in hand and 2) We just can't seem to beat you.

Bruins have a chance to really get waxed the next four games. The Blues have another 2-0 loss look to it....the Sabres and Sens, back to back on the road will not be for the faint of heart...and then generally the first game back off a long trip is generally not a great one...

Losing the division lead they've held easily for so long despite less than stellar play may be what is needed to get these guys scoring.

The B's could easily go 1 -5 or 2 -4 on this road trip and with Ottawa wnning 6 - 0 today and only 2 point behind, anything is possible here. The B's have 3 games in hand so they really need to win those to put some distance between them and Ottawa again.

The way they are playing right now (Boston) it will not be easy.

Its been said already but the Home at Home series with the Sens will paint the picture of whether or not this is possible. If the Bruins take both of those games... no they wont make up that ground. If we lose both... well then it will at least make for a tight race to the finish

Bruins need to add help.Last time they faced Sens they were badly outpayed and simply put 'LUCKY " If Chia does not fix this team with help it will not matter one way or they other where they finish,They will be bumped quicky from playoffs.

Is there a chance? Yup.

Will we? Nope.

There is no WAY we continue to be as snake bitten as we have been for the balance of the season. Like I've said in a bunch of thread regarding our struggles, the entire team is struggling all at once. I can't name a single player who is playing up to the level expected of them, with the possible acceptation of Milan Lucic.

One of our goalies will find his groove, one of lines will start clicking and we can get somewhat back on track. I don't think we start rolling again until Peverley gets back and Chiarelli makes the required deal to add some depth.

If we go into the playoffs with this current line up though we will get kabonged in round 1.

If it was any other franchise other than the bruins, I would say no..

Defending champs, 4 points up, 4 games in hand - 3/5ths of the season done?

History has an ugly embrace with the b's.

Not only is it possible but if the B's play the next 6 weeks like the last six it is certain.

A bigger concern than the 2 points.........is the 8 point spread to missing the playoffs.

The time is over for trying to pretend this is a 7 week slump.......just a fluke, etc.

Start playing winning hockey or start making Tee Times.

Reminds me a lot of Chicago last year.

Chia needs to do something. I think a move needs to be made -- if for no other reason, just to change the way the team is thinking.
