Isles have 4 young blueliners at Bridgeport.They don't need bottom pairing d-men.They need a quality,top 4 to play with Streit/Hamonic/MacDonald.
Their own cheap youngsters,can play bottom pairing minutes.
Donovan, Ness and CDH are all good puck movers and really only need one in the 6 next year. Also, who plays on the PK then?

I can see a deal with PHX. Klesla, Schlmeko, and Morris are all out, so adding a veteran to the back-end makes a lot of sense. Maloney said as much in an interview today, though he didn't drop any names. Coyotes have two 3rds in this draft so if that's the price, I could see Maloney paying that for a rental...as long as Eaton is still an effective shot-blocker and first-unit penalty killer.
