I think Mark Howe is the director of scouting for Detroit, not Philly

Donovan, Ness and CDH are all good puck movers and really only need one in the 6 next year. Also, who plays on the PK then?

3rd?
Philly should be done. Anyway, Juice should get a 4th.

If all I'm getting for Juice is a 4th. I'm holding on to him. I think he's a good 3rd pairing Dman....I'd like to re-sign him

I wouldn't mind that, just depends on the price. I think I'd rather have Staios though.

Yeah if Staios was about 4 years younger. At this Point Juice is the better option out of Staios, Eaton, Mottau

By the way, I'm not sure what others see, but I think Ness is garbage. He's too small, can't move anyone away from net. We need some big bodies back there. I see Ness as a life long minor leaguer.

A top of the league team might be willing to give up a 2nd for him.. As an Isles fan, I'd take that in order to hopefully stockpile some picks and get a damn player for a change

Would be a massive pickup for the Canucks or Leafs

I am guessing he will get a 3rd, but if there is a shortage of sellers it might be as high as a 2nd

Eaton for Alberts (van) straight up

Staios & 5th round for Corvo (bos)

Nothing earth shattering, just changing spare parts.

What about to a team like the Blues for a mid pick? I threw around an idea of Bryan Allen to the Blues last night but people were against it due to Allen's experience (or lackthereof) in the playoffs.

Eaton's got a Cup and he can be a good bottom-pairing guy (although that's about it).

True that...

So Detroit looking at Jurcina...wonder if Snow will make juice a package with Nabokov...what sort of return could/would Detroit offer?

I can see a deal with PHX. Klesla, Schlmeko, and Morris are all out, so adding a veteran to the back-end makes a lot of sense. Maloney said as much in an interview today, though he didn't drop any names. Coyotes have two 3rds in this draft so if that's the price, I could see Maloney paying that for a rental...as long as Eaton is still an effective shot-blocker and first-unit penalty killer.

Detroits goaltending is fine. JMac has been great. Jurcina for a 4th and a 7th.

Eaton sucks.

Anyone who's watched him would realize his value is nill.

If the Isles can net anything better than a 4th for this slug, it's highway robbery.

Hopefully some desparate GMs are as unaware of Eaton's recent play as some on this board.

Eaton is not getting a 2nd. Maybe a 4th or 5th, or possibly some sort of conditional pick.
