More than fine with me, he's not a bad player but he doesn't have any real impact IMO.

I would love to see a package of PAP/Grabner/Okposo+Eaton sent to them for one of those stud young defensemen.

Posters on the trade rumors board were saying he could fetch a 2nd. If Garth wants him gone immediately (tonight), then he'd probably have to settle for a 3rd or 4th.

I'd rather keep Eaton then get a 3rd or 4th.. But if he wants out, I guess take whatever you can Nd hopefully combine it for a bigger piece.. Or at least a human that has NHL experience.

If Eaton goes, then Ness probably stays up when Hamonic gets back.

And Ness has looked good IMO since being called up.

If Snow can get a 2nd for Mark Eaton he should be given a lifetime contract (which he may have anyway)

He's a #6 Dman on one of the worst defensive teams in the NHL. Why would anyone trade anything of value for him?

Can I drive him out of town please? I'll even pay for the gas. Get us a 4th round pick and we will be happy as hell.
Oh, and if it can be arranged, get a chain going with Eaton holding hands and dragging Rolston, Staios, Jurcina, Pandolfo, and Reasoner along with him.
Adios M-Fer's. I would rather tank with ECHL and PTO bodies than to watch these overpaid slugs embarress the Islander uniform game in and game out.

And honestly, even if they do squeak into the 8th spot, does anyone hold any hope of them knocking off the Rags? HIGHLY unlikely.

So long.. He's been ok at times and been awful at other times. If Garth can get a 2nd rounder that'd be a steal.. I still haven't seen anywhere that he's asked for a trade.. Maybe it's just Garth exploring the market.

I think Eaton's a solid dman. But he doesn't make an impact for us, and he's better off being a #6 for some other team.

If Gill got a 2nd pick, Blake Geoffrion and another pick next year, I don't see how Eaton wouldn't get a second pick, he's pretty similar caliber to Gill...

Basically, prices are so high for these defenseman, if you can get a second pick for Eaton, TRADE HIM NOW
