I don't think Rock/Cena is going 30 minutes, I think closer to 15-20 minutes. There's going to be a long video package hyping up the feud, then the entrances and then a 15-20 minute match I'm guess. I think the match times for 'Mania go like this:
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan (c) - 12-16 mins
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Big Show - 8-11 mins
Randy Orton vs. Kane - 8-10 mins
12 Man Tag Team Match - 14-18 mins
CM Punk (c) vs. Chris Jericho - 23-28 mins
The Undertaker vs. Triple H - 27-35 mins
Divas Match - 4-7 mins
The Rock vs. John Cena - 15-20 mins
I'm expecting the most devastating move in that match to be a top rope fame-asser by Cena. It's gonna be a slow match but they'll sell it and pander to the crowd to make it fun.
They'll be able to go 25-30 minutes I think. Lots of rest holds, punches, clotheslines, maybe a 2nd rope suplex, a Rock Bottom here, AA there, some near falls, more rest holds. I expect the match to drag on at times, but I still think they can go 30 minutes or close to it.
I disagree. I think this match is going to surprise people. Rocky can bring it and both guys are going to want to prove they can wrestle. Ultimately it will come down to chemistry.
I'm guessing there will be a table spot and a ref bump. If Miz gets involved, I'll be so pissed. That will be the classic overbooking for no reason.
I actually liked Edge/Del Rio opening the show last year. Honestly, I thought it was the best match on the card and it really got me into the show. Unfortunately, the next two and a half hours were complete garbage. With Taker/HHH and Orton/Punk being the only other matches of note.
If they open up with Bryan/Sheamus and put on an exciting 15 minute back and forth match that would be a great way to kick off the action, especially with the rest of the card being so much stronger than last year. Go right into Rhodes/Show or Kane/Orton to keep the pace going.

I also will be very pissed if Miz gets involved. He should be anywhere near this match. There's no way that this match ends clean though. Something is going to happen so that the loser (Rock, in my opinion) doesnt look too bad, especially since rumors are that Rocky will also be at Summerslam.
I'm hoping that they dont overbook it. There is a way to have some booking in the match without it being overbooking. Most recent example being Punk/Cena at MITB.

Meh, with The Rock's schedule coming up, I doubt he plays a part in SummerSlam. Guy is busy as **** with numerous movies on his plate for about a good year and a half.

And Sheamus and Bryan are more than capable of delivering a solid 15 minute title match. Bryan is basically a jack of all trades, the guy can put on a believable match with anyone. Sheamus is also very good for being a bigger guy.
If the Rock/Cena match has a ref bump and a table spot, I will be very pleased. Hopefully it's not a cop out, half open table against a turnbuckle those are so lame.
I don't get how some people are trashing The Rock because he had the song he was singing on the titantron . He clearly said, everyone sing along with The Rock, we're singing it proud together "Karaoke style"
As for the notes in front of him when he was playing the guitar, it's been done before *see other Rock concerts. Why such a shocker? lol
Just enjoy the entertainment. Stop watching it to find mistakes or flaws. No one's forcing you to watch the damn show!
This is the problem. It wasn't entertaining, at least not to me.
The rock concert itself was bland. Same old jokes, same two chords being played and most of the material he said was expected. The karaoke part was brutal. I think part of the reason why was that the concert was already dragging along so to add that on top of it sucked the energy out of the crowd. Also, if you are going to sing karaoke style and you have the bloody words in front of you, in LARGE on the titantron, try not messing up every single verse.
I'm not bashing him, I am just saying that this was a couple of notches below what we've seen from The Rock in the past. Being a Rock fan, his return and feud with Cena has been a major let-down on his part. Cena however, who I loathe on most nights, has kept my interest in this silly little feud.

Two? He played one the entire time. That strumming pattern makes it sound nice but he didn't change his left hand position the entire time.
I think part of the reason it seems a little flat is because there has been no physical contact between them. It's just been talking back at each other for almost a year besides that one rock bottom at Survivor Series. It would be nice to see some interference or back room brawling. Something to heat it up a little bit.

He's got three movies set for 2013 release all of which are in the pre-production stage. A Micheal Bay one about Body Builders fighting crime, The new Fast & Furious, & Empire State which by the looks of it might actually be a 2014 because there isn't even a solid plot yet.
I don't think it would be too much of a reach for Summer Slam but I would imagine they are going to start shooting on some them around that time.
People really complain about everything. There's literally no reason to even bring up the Rock's "one chord". The point of that segment was not to have a nice little concert...
Jericho on twitter says it's ******** he and Punk will go on first. He says it's going to be the dark match!
Chris Jericho @IAmJericho
Thats BS. Its gonna be the dark match... RT @therealRobRed @CMPunk @IAmJericho is your match at Mania on first? that's ridiculous!
So according to the commercials that have been airing here in Orlando where the SD after mania is going to be, there is going to be a multi guy tag match (and honestly I can't remember how many guys are in it), but anyways Punk is advertised to be in the match and they're saying he's champ. Not sure if thats a spoiler or what but I figured I'd share.
During the WWE-themed appearance on Extra today, a new match for WrestleMania was set up, and we'll be getting a Divas match, after all as WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix teams with Eve Torres to take on the team of Kelly Kelly and Extra's Maria Menounos, who has made multiple appearances for WWE in the past.

I remember when he was tag team journeyman with like Test, Scotty 2 Hotty and others then they made him a monster heel and he went to the speedo tights and looked like a water buffalo.
I never really minded the A-train when he was first here, but I was pretty young then so I don't really remember. I doubt he'll be used in a huge wrestling role, but he'd make a great body-guard type.
