Draw some penalties is what we need. Our PP has been great recently, but when we only draw one penalty a game like against Florida, and Anaheim, or NO penalties at all like the other night in Montreal it's impossible. Against Montreal we couldn't get any, and that sucked.
Toronto has the second worse PK in the league though I think it's improved. The misleading stat. Just like our PK is number 2 or maybe even tied for 2nd now, and we're letting up PP goals every other game, and sometimes twice a game now. Same with our PP. It looks below average on paper, but we might very well be one of the best PP teams since post ASB. Wasn't it like 33 percent post break during the Buffalo game? That's gotta be the best.
I wanna win against Toronto. We need everything we can right now. Like Pete said before last game. All it takes is one bad weekend[Or week or any kind of slight small losing streak] to be back to clinging for 8th. Especially since Ottawa somehow decided to come back from the dead.
I hope Bobby Mac was right and Lou really is going out and trying to find that premier dman. We could really use all of those guys being bumped down a line.
He said we will be active but we have financial constraints blah blah. But someone obviously twisted it into saying that we're looking for a premier d-man.
You have no idea how lucky you are. I went to Devils games about once a year for the better part of a decade, and the Devils lost every single game by one goal in regulation or OT (mostly OT/SO). I eventually gave up after having wasted hundreds and hundreds of dollars to see NJ lose here in SoCal and having to suffer the horribly pompous fair-weather Ducks/Kings fans.
If you don't think I'm cursed, go watch the highlights for Game 3 of the Cup Finals in 2003. I was there for this.
I'm dead tired at work this morning... Maybe if I take a nap after work, I'll stay up and catch this game...
