gah. being a fairly new fan(2005) the two most memorable games I remeber when facing the Leafs were when Kovalchuk first came here and we came back and won. The other was like in 2005 when it was like 7-6 final score and Madden scored in the shootout on the backhand and Gionta had a hat trick. good memories!
will watch this tomorrow again with my buddies...one of him a Toronto fan.
win please! NO let down game now^^

I would love to see Kovy bust out the trolling celebrations again. He seems to have calmed down with those. Now he usually just does the group hug and goes to the bench like everyone else.
Came home really hungry and had dinner... So I didn't nap right away and the game is still far away.
Maybe if I nap for an hour or two now I'll be good to go for the game? And hopefully right back to sleep after... London has been absolutely fantastic to me, but it's time to come home, haha.

I thought that lou had possibly asked kovy to tame his celebrations. but now I think it depends on the game. against the rangers, he screams Russian curses. I cannot friggin wait to see THIS kovy in the playoffs. oooooooooooo-doggy he wants it bad

He seems to save them for important goals, which is better than doing it often.

I thought it might have something to do with buying into the team mentality too, but I guess you're right, it depends on the situation. For a clutch tying goal late, he might pull it out, but not for a blowout or an early goal.
