"That's the word that came to mind. Character, character, character. I think our fans keep coming to the games because they know we fight. For us it's not about how many times we fall, it's not what happens to us, it's really how we react to it and how we get up. It was like that last year and it's like that this year. We're fighting and you can see the character in the players. We've lost some soldiers, some people we respect, some people who have given us everything they got and hockey people say it's a business but I never saw it that way. I strongly believe it's about relationships and we have strong relationships with the individuals that were mentioned today through the trades."
"Giving up is 2 words that don't exist in my vocabulary. It's totally against my nature, I can't so I think our players are the same and our GM is the same."
MARTY ST. LOUIS:
"At the end of the day we're still going to fight regardless of what's going on around us. We have to. There's 26 games left. That's like a third of the season. There's a lot of time. You start winning games, you never know."
"You don't want to be in June, 40 rounds of golf deep at that time, and you wish you did this and did that. Just leave it out there. You never know."
"Steve is doing his job, and we have to do ours. It's within this room. We have to believe in each other. This is what we've got. Like Marty said, we've got to stick together."
LET'S GO BOLTS!
