Trevor Smith & Mike Angelidis

As we all know since yesterday, Smith was called up as Lecavalier's replacement.

Today they called up Angelidis as backup:

#tblightning have recalled LW Mike Angelidis for @NorfolkAdmirals likely as insurance for 3-game road trip, but will try to investigate it

And if your counting, that's 2 recalls in 2 days with no #Oberging #SignOfTheApocolypse #AirlinesAreCrying #JustHavingSomeFun

Yeah. I'm a little curious why Angelidis over Nacho since Nacho got the call first last time, and has since been much better in Norfolk.

Worst part of the whole selling is raiding Norfolk while they're having a good season just so we can fill holes.

As a fan of an NHL team, they knew what they signed up for, and that this could be a possibility if Roloson broke down.

As a minor league fan, why are they leeching off the Ads success? Why can't Norfolk have nice things?

You can't, because he's Nachos.

I think Labrie's success since going back down is a big reason why he's staying put. Angelidis adds some toughness anyways, so the decision doesn't surprise me.

For the most part, the Ads usually play on the weekends, so calling them up for a mid-week game and sending them back isn't really affecting Norfolk that much.

Also, the fact that both Smith and Angelidis are both UFAs at the end of the season, they might want to see what they can do with the big club.
