I made sure to use the sarcasm smilie. Just read some of the threads here and on the trade forum. Dude's been getting absolutely crushed. You'd think he's the worst D-Man ever given the bashing.

He's the worst defenseman for the money he's being paid in the NHL today. It's ugly out there. Dude needs a night off to watch from the box and see plays develop from a different angle. Although even in the press box he'll be shaking and looking over his shoulder....Mario is still physically imposing.
It's been a combination of that, and the team playing like absolute **** in front of him.
agreed, however consider....
The team plays better in front of fleury because of the confidence they have in him. When your goalie can't stop a beach ball it changes (in a bad way) how the team in front of him plays.
He had a much better defense in front of him last year, too. There's a big drop off between Hutchinson/Potter and Picard/Despres as far as actual D goes.
Potter was very good last year. Hutchinson, not so much. Picard is bad and Despres has to get back into game shape after missing over a month. Yesturday against Portland he was benched in the third period and WBS rotated 5 D-men to win 5-3.
So much for him. Guess BJ isn't feeling well and they don't want him near the team
Yeah, I'd guess let Thiessen ride the pine tonight, ship him back tomorrow AM, he starts in WB on Thursday and Johnson is all healed and ready to warm the bench by the weekend.
Can't possibly be worse than BJ. And it's about friggin' time. Maybe he can catch a little fire and be a solid backup.
Is it possible that Johnson is going to be traded or...? I can't see us keeping 3 goalies for a significant length of time...doesn't seem to be prudent, nor is it Shero's style.
