Probably. Most likely even.

Looking ahead. Probably Sunday versus the Jackets.

I think that's obviously the plan, just didn't know the schedule before deadline.

He's the worst defenseman for the money he's being paid in the NHL today. It's ugly out there. Dude needs a night off to watch from the box and see plays develop from a different angle. Although even in the press box he'll be shaking and looking over his shoulder....Mario is still physically imposing.

It could be just a case of BJ getting maitenence game day and Brad goes back down tommorow but i really think they want to give him a start.

That's possible, but still, not even to be in the building for practice?

....and hey, it's far fetched....but Ty Conklin is on waivers....could we be waiving BJ and called up Thiessen as a fill-in?

If BJ is done, Conkblock is done-er, if you know what I mean.

agreed, however consider....
The team plays better in front of fleury because of the confidence they have in him. When your goalie can't stop a beach ball it changes (in a bad way) how the team in front of him plays.

Potter was very good last year. Hutchinson, not so much. Picard is bad and Despres has to get back into game shape after missing over a month. Yesturday against Portland he was benched in the third period and WBS rotated 5 D-men to win 5-3.

Wouldn't mind bringing Conklin back one bit. We will find out soon if a team has claimed him

So much for him. Guess BJ isn't feeling well and they don't want him near the team

Would've preffered to see Munroe but Thiessen's earnt a place. Think this could mean Johnson's end in sight.

Yeah, I'd guess let Thiessen ride the pine tonight, ship him back tomorrow AM, he starts in WB on Thursday and Johnson is all healed and ready to warm the bench by the weekend.

He's a 30 year old career AHL'er. No thanks.

Theissen has been medocre at best this year. I would not count on him to be any kind of savior.

Even with Thiessen's AHL struggles he can't be any worse than BJ.

I still can't believe the 3 goals he allowed vs Buffalo. He moves AWAY from the puck on wrap arounds!

Don't need a savior, just someone who plays better than BJ. At this point that isn't such a tall order.

Can't possibly be worse than BJ. And it's about friggin' time. Maybe he can catch a little fire and be a solid backup.

Is it possible that Johnson is going to be traded or...? I can't see us keeping 3 goalies for a significant length of time...doesn't seem to be prudent, nor is it Shero's style.
