Vandy fans are willing to where orange whenever the circumstances require it, that would be one day out of the year Halloween.

UT grad here as well (couldn't guess by the name, right?), and yeah, I agree...different team.

Though the gold is a little different...the blue/yellow combo is a play off the colors of the city's flag.

While I love my Vols, I realize a lot of Preds fans are not Vol fans....so I can see the importance of being different.

Canucks fan here, but more importantly a hockey fan, and the Preds played some GREAT hockey! This was a fun game to watch. It was clean. It was intense. It was fast. Both teams were pressured into mistakes and at the end of the day, the Canucks made more.

Predators scored a couple of great goals and Luongo was at his best.

Imagine being Mike Fisher; playing a good game, getting dressed and going home to get undressed for Carrie!

Love your team. Unlike a couple of others out there, they are talented and classy.

You know, I thought that it was 5-on-5 there, too. Glad I wasn't just imagining things. I was pretty surprised when I looked up at the board and saw a minute-something left on the penalties, because I never heard the actual calls, I thought they were fighting majors.

I forgot about Yip until I heard his name announced when I was over at my friends place. How has he been in Nashville?

Nothing spectacular, and no major gaffes. He's filling a need for a bigger body along the boards and in front of the net (especially in Hornqvist's absence). I'd say he's a poor man's Joel Ward. Not going to score, but can forecheck and maintain the cycle in the offensive zone. He's not easily knocked off the puck.

Great depth pick up for the Preds.

He has been all right. Nothing special, nothing horrid. Good depth guy to have. Has been getting power play time with Hornqvist out. Not the next Joel Ward, but I'm not opposed to having him around for another year or two. The guy plays hard, he just doesn't have much skill.

Pretty funny how many Canucks fans were saying, "Weber went easy on Burrows because he knows they'll be teammates in a few months."

We're trading for Burrows? Cool!!

Some other gems from the Canuck fans:

1. Preds are the luckiest team on the face of the planet
2. Refs are absolutely giving this game to the preds
3. We're absolutely dominating the preds in every aspect. If it weren't for #1 and #2, we'd be winning.
4. Rinne steals another game for the preds. How can a team suck so bad and have their goalie win every game for them?
5. Oh well, it's just one game. We'll sweep them in the playoffs.

Apparently Canadian TV has some sort of distortion filter....

If my telecast had this kind of blind homerism describing the hit, I'd feel the way they do too........at 1:13 more specifically.

Yea, I read their GDT and some of their comments started to infuriate me, but then I realized who cares. We just need to beat them and win against other teams when it matters and that will shut them all up.

Nuck fans complain about the reputation they have on these boards, but some of them have fully earned it. Sucks because there are a lot of good fans too, just also a lot of bad ones.

I dread the day that the Leafs are a good team. This board will become a zoo

I learned an obscure HF rule when I brought some of their quotes over to our board after a Nuck game. Apparently it's against the rules to make fun of what other people say on here.
The more you know...
