That's a tough one. I'm a big fan of Clowe, but unless he's gonna hit his point totals from 10-11, I'd stick with Clarkson, who I think will score more goals (and has a knack for game winners). Clowe plays the PK though, so if shorthanded points are worth anything, he might be a good bet.

I also have a question about clarkson where does he fit in the top 6? And realistically do you see him being on pace to pot 30 goals again?
I don't see him scoring 30 again (or whatever the prorated amount would be for the shortened season), and he's ideally a great third line player. Due our lack of depth at wing currently, he can slot in at RW on the second line. He's still a serviceable second line player, but I think he's best suited for the third line. And at that, probably one of the best third line players in the league.
I saw that Larsson didn't play last night. I haven't heard that he's injured, so what's the deal? He played a ton last year, is he still on Deboer's bad side from late last year?
Pete has been quoted as saying that Larsson will play a significant role for the Devils this season. I'm assuming a d-man will be moved so that Adam has a spot. They won't waste his development...

Nassau Coliseum had Swedish meatballs in the press box. Larsson beat Josfeson, Tallinder, and Tedenby in Candyland. He earned the privilege.
Why are the mods so anti-new thread here? Having a thread about Adam Larsson doesn't seem too crazy for a Devils forum. Mega threads are obviously good for game discussion though.

Larsson will get in when there is an injury or a trade, maybe even before that if DeBoer wants to rotate a defenceman out. I'm not really worried about his development stalling, DeBoer will use him properly.
Sykora is toast. I dont see us signing him. If Darche signs and when Henrique comes back our bottom six looks much better and we will still be in a great position for a trade.

Doesn't appear like there's been much contact between the Devils and Sykora. Sykora's agent posted a couple weeks ago something along the lines of "he'll be in the NHL this year." Might have been a bluff to drum up artificial demand however.

Well...I did just have to cut him in NHL 13...so there's that...
can someone tell me what Darche would add to this team? that sykora or Butler wouldn't?
Butler is not ready for the NHL according to Lou, Sykora was burnt out last year. Darche has been a solid 3rd/4th line grinder for the last few years in MTL and will put up 15-30 points (full season) while being sound defensively, and he kills PK's which the other two cannot. Its better than Barch or Cam in the lineup.
