2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.

If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.

Bad for the team, good for him:

Loui Eriksson is back in Dallas as his wife has gone into labor. He will join the team in Chicago once the baby is born.

Remember that time Pardy played well against Montreal in the preseason and we thought he was going to be good? Haha.

Can't wait!!! Going to tonight's game! First time I get to see Stars play live twice in a year! The exhibition game back in October where we won 6-3 against the Habs was very entertaining. Got boo'ed a lot but it was worth it. Prior to this year, I have only seen the Stars play live twice since becoming a fan in 2001. So you can tell why i'm this excited, sucks though Benn ain't playing.

I'll be supporting the Stars tonight with my authentic '99 Stars jersey with the Finals patch. Hopefully i'll get on the big screen or on TV

Isn't this Loui's second child? IIRC, he has a daughter already.

I don't really get the Kari starting in Montreal and Bachman starting in Chicago idea. Shouldn't the #1 be playing against the Western team in competition with us?

Were not competing with chicago. No chance we catch them even if we make a run.

And in all liklihood the hawks beat us whoever starts.

But if kari starts tonight and rests vs the Hawks, Kari gets the home game against Minnesota the next night. And i gues were semi chance to win 2 of our next 3.

Though, if your in the tank band wagon, then i guess we chould switch it ...depends on if youve given up or not

I suspect Kari ends up starting both

So true, that game against Minnesota will be so crucial. 2nd night of a b2b for both teams, both have had an away game the night before and a 'similar' travel distance to Dallas. Quite likely that this is the reasoning behind this. If they don't manage to win that game it's really lights out for this season.
