Ubaldo hit Tulo with a pitch today (purposely). Tulo has precautionary x-rays

Afterward, Jimenez pounded his chest and Tulowitzki took angry steps toward the mound. Both benches cleared and teams spent several minutes holding back the former teammates.

When Tulowitzki took first base, he was being shielded by the Rockies and Jimenez could be seen gesturing for Tulowitzki to come after him.

What a POS.

First he talks **** about the Rockies because he didn't get a contract extension, then Tulowitzki/Gonzalez respond and defend the Rockies organization, and now he hits Tulowitzki.

The x-rays on Tulo's elbow were negative. That's good news for the Rockies and my fantasy team.

I'm sure there is more to this story from inside their clubhouse. I'd hesitate to just call Ubaldo a POS, they all may be one

Sounds like the entire thing was blown out of proportion. Tulo is known to be a little arrogant.

The prospects the Indians gave up for Jimenez have taken a nosedive too.

^^ Really? I think Jimenez is being an ass for throwing at someone and potential injuring someone over comments made over the media.

I'm not defending Tulo, because what he did was not cool, but to potentially injure someone over that is pretty barbaric.

Not Pomeranz. He's an elite prospect, and has excelled this spring.
