Well, if you were GMing a team, you'd miss out on those guys all the time because of your bias against them.

Haha, what? My bias against who? I just said I like those players, I'm just not obsessed with them like some of us around here. I don't want a team of 12 Travis Moens.

I don't know if you think I have an anti-tough guy bias, but this is like my 20th post (and first two on the subject) ever.

That's how it goes around here if you say anything remotely negative about tough guys.

The Zidlicky deal makes me think there could be a market for Kaberle. If Markov looks like he can resume his career, no reason to keep Kaberle if they can move him now for something half as good as what Minny just got.

Give your head a shake to anyone who thinks there is another idiot like Gauthier willing to trade for Kaberle. The man is so slow he is always out of position. Has no clue how to play D. His offensive production is a thing of the past. Molson will have to bury him and that dead weight albatross GOmez if this team wants to compete. No way in hell that St.Denis can be as bad ad Kaberle

How can his offensive production be a thing of the past when he's got 17 pts in 33 games as a Hab? That's like 40+ for the whole year, quite good for a defenseman. Unless you don't measure offensive production in actual points?

I guarantee more than half of those points are secondary assists. Kaberle's offensive production/abilities are simply not good enough to compensate for how awful he is defensively.

I hope he's traded at the deadline.

It's a kick in the gut to read Ranger fans comments about McDonagh.

Lies. He's scored only 22 points in 59 games. He's definitely worse than Kaberle.

Kolanos on waivers by the flames...

if we are going to do the right thing and move Kost, Campoli, Kaberle (i hope) or any other player we aren't committed to keeping in the offseason (Darche?), he'd be a very good waiver pick up for the remainder of the season.

really talented athlete who has gone through hell (injury-wise) but finally made it back to the NHL. Has been playing pretty well since getting called up by the flames, after tearing it up for Abbotsford, even if the stat-line doesn't show it.

i imagine he's getting sent back down to the AHL given all the returning-from-injury players they are getting back into the lineup.

guy has shown tremendous character and desire to battle through the injuries/bad luck in pursuit of being an NHLer... the kind of drive and commitment that ensures he won't "coast" the way so many of our guys have lately.

worth a 20 game "try-out" imo, especially if we see a few roster spots open up in the next few days.

Florida: panacea to all reject 2nd and 3rd line scoring forwards who lost their scoring touch or had it dampened.

Larry Brooks has already said NYR would not trade Del Zotto or McDonagh.
