couple things...biggest one WHY ON EARTH is mitchell one of the 6 skaters on at the end of the game with the goalie pulled...beyond me...another thought wolski is being traded and they don't want him getting hurt so he is not playing...rangers are showcasing players, not sure who though...and I hope we trade for more offense cuz this is downright sad to see..

Give me a break Torts. Wolski playing 3rd line minutes can't be worse than who we currently have out there.

Too many missed chances. McD with the post, Mitchell almost burying it, etc.

Just hope this game doesn't mean the Nash talks increase. Just chalk this up to a loss and come out flying against the Isles.

I don't think they were that bad aside from the 1st. Not good, but certainly not awful.

Pittsburgh played a solid game as well. Move on I guess.

Also Richards and Mitchell were dreadful. A lot of stupid little plays and passes tonight.

Richards was easily the worst forward of the game, IMO.

Definitely outplayed, but not by much. We didn't convert our chances and they did. The effort was there though, imo.

Great effort! Glad scrubs like Mitchell are getting top 6 playing time when you have players such as Wolski or Zuc who are more appropriate choices to play top 6.

Frustrating loss, beat the tar out of the Isles Thursday.

POTG: Hank
The Good: McD I guess
The Bad: Gabby's giveaway, Mitchell, Bickel's comical lapse

This game could have easily punched Dubi's ticket out of town. 6 goals from a $4.2 million player who has held out twice over money isn't going to cut it.

Torts generally does a good job, but he is also very stubborn.

Wolski/Zucc deserve a 5 game stretch...Wolski gets 2 games here, 1 game here...he is not going to get consistent. He was completely hampered by injuries.

and John Mitchell.
He is not an NHLer.

We've gotten away with dressing AHLers such as Mitchell and Bickel and it's time for an improvement. Mitchell doesn't realize his role as a 4th liner. He stickhandles way too much instead of making the simple play.

The defense is struggling and has been for some time. Torts is losing confidence with Eminger and Stralman and I think an upgrade on D is in order.

Pretty lousy effort outside of Hank. Though I thought Staal had a good game for the most part.

John Mitchell being on the ice at the end of the game shows how sorry this team's offensive depth is.
