First, lent is a Catholic thing and they have a different Bible than I do.

Second, when did this become a "my" book thing?

Lent is far from just a Catholic thing. They just get the most notice around it because of the very visual ritual on Ash Wed and being the largest religion globally.

This event, along with its pious customs are observed by Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, Anglicans and some Baptists. Lent is increasingly being observed by other denominations as well, even such groups that have historically ignored Lent, such as some Baptists and Mennonites.

My bad...I've always associated it with Catholics and I'm not any of those religions either.

I should probably shower and eat.

But I'm on my couch, music on and just don't feel like getting up.

Also a lot of chickfilas I've been to in the north don't have lemonade or tea. It's depressing.

Pro tip, let the sandwich sit in the bag for about five minutes while you eat the fries. Also ranch dressing on the spicy biscuit, thank me later.

Krispy Kreme made some inroads into CT, but this is a Dunkin' Donuts state for sure.

Pro tip from an ex-employee and niece/cousin of CFA Owners...eat it cold the next day, so freakin' good!

Ah, the Atkins trend. What a stupid concept. Give yourself heart trouble and headaches by loading up on fat and protein, and cut out carbs, which keep your body running right.

yep, just another fad diet. but it was a great lesson in adapting to the marketplace, and krispy kreme took a nosedive around then by not listening to their consumers. DD, for example, expanded their menu and stayed relative to trends, and look where they are today.
