Do people really not comprehend that 40pts in 52 GP is owning in the present day NHL?
Richards is a 4th line center lately.

What a great game. Everybody played well but I really felt that Hall/Hemsky set the tone in the 1st period. They were flying out there.

Smyth Gagner Eberle
Hall RNH Hemsky

That could be a nice way to finish the year if Hemsky doesn't get traded.

THANK YOU! I've been wondering how many points/number of games he's had!

Agreed, can't remember the last time the Oilers had a player who just took the whole team on his back like Hall does. He's a guy who will lead by example on the ice, if not wisdom in the dressing room.

Olli seemed distracted tonight. Must have been dreaming of his Shrove Tuesday supper he was going to have after the game.

hall getting the early breakaway set the tone for the night. He didn't score, but it didn't matter, he did what he needed to do to get the troops motoring by setting the pace.

Great way to break the streak against the Flames, not one passenger tonight.

Petry is turning into a really really good defenseman, he has been our best defenseman or at worst #2 behind Smid for a good 15 game stretch now.

Gotta give Kruger credit for placing Smyth on the Gagner-Eberle line, i was skeptical at first and i know that it's only one game but the last time Smyth played this well was on the RNH-Eberle line early in the year, i don't think it's any coicidence that he magically found the fountain of youth immediately upon return to Eberle's line.

I thought that the much maligned Potter looked great tonight, our PP looked infinitely better with him anchoring it.

I'll reiterate what i've been saying for weeks. I really don't want to see Hemsky moved, he and Hall feed off each other very well and could give us a really good 2nd or second 1st line if you will going into the next couple of seasons. This team will miss Hemsky when he's gone, just watch.

Anyway, it's great to beat the Flames after so many piss poor performances against them. It feels John Good Man.

This Sam gagner I can like. The one we've seen over the last few years... not so much. As it's been pointed out, however, he is still a young guy. Hopefully, he really has turned the corner and we can expect more of this Sam Gagner in the future.

Oh man, and Phoenix comes back to tie LA. Three point game for two teams that Calgary is trying to catch.

That was a disgusting pass by Gagner to Smyth, just beautiful.

Don't see too many Gagner haters around here anymore.

When Hall got the puck, you knew he was gone. Kid has world class speed.

Agreed... hoping the guy can keep the momentum going into next season... really hope he doesn't regress a la Peckham.
