It looked like blatant interference at first but the replay showed he was pushed into the goalie.
It doesn't seem to matter, though. I've seen interference called this year when the goalie's barely been touched, and I've seen it called when a player is shoved into the goalie. There is zero consistency.
On another note, good grief Komisarek is awful. I think Lucic permanently broke him.

He was pushed into the goaltender AS he was skating right into the goaltender.
To Artemis' point, I don't know what is and what isn't anymore either. So much of the league's discipline this season has been baffling.
I think the worst offender has been Shanahan. He started off so promising, but instead of sticking to his guns in that position, he bowed to the will of the whiners.
I think we may be seeing some fallout of the same sort when it comes to goalie interference. Like the beginning of the season when people swore up and down it only be called if the goaltender was in his crease. It's really rather ridiculous and has lead to inconsistency in many different areas.
If Shanny had only stuck to his convictions and been the bad guy in spite of all the people crying "no fair". I think the league would have been better off.
Did anyone catch Sid giving the B's props on NBC? I only caught the tail end. Sounds like he makes his debut against the B's on Sunday. Anyone who watched that could plainly see, despite what B's fans think of their team right now, that the B's are still the team to beat in the playoffs.
I'd rather face the rags in the playoffs any day, than a pens team w/ Crosby. And, not all that far removed from their own Cup. But I'd also like the chance to send them golfing. Been a long time coming.

My friend just texted me.... "Sid back in the line up on Sunday night. Back on IR on Monday"
Afterall, he is playing the biggest goon team in the NHL first up
PS: In all seriousness, I hope Sid's comeback is permanent this time. Too big a talent to be sitting on the sidelines.
Savard's career is ruined. Screw Crosby and screw the Penguins. I want no part of them in the playoffs. Maybe the Flyers can do the Bruins and Rangers a favor and knock them off in the first round.
Watching the highlights of the Leafs' loss. Kessel falls by the bench and you can hear (a linesman?) "Come on Phil!" at the embellishment. It's right before the third Pittsburgh goal

Bozak has an empty net, but he shoots the puck into the skate of Conolly who had fallen down.

Maybe we'll be returning the favor if we face them.
Hahaha same as the leafs board. Imagine that, two proud cities like Toronto & Montreal begging to lose 2012 must really be the end of the world.
I can understand their logic in hoping for a last place finish to get the best draft pick since they are pretty much out of the playoff picture now, but still, rooting against your own team... there is something intrinsically wrong there.
If ever there was a time for us to gloat over the state of affairs in Montreal, it's now. Enjoy

Could Yakupov be anxious to play in Montreal??? I`d be runnin for the KHL hills
At least in Columbus, with Nash potentially all but gone, he`d be THE man, and be able to tie his shoes without Media scrutinizing him for it
