TB ended up making a game of it but Jets get the win. They actually scare me to go up against. They have our number

We played some of our worst hockey against them though. There is definitely a worry going into that building though.

Good to see our brothers in the West get the win tonight.

They = Winterpeg of course and they should scare everyone who has to play them. Not so much talent for talent pers se' but everybody knows what home ice means in the real season and those whacko's in Manitoba will be seriously jacking up that team.

I would worry for any team going in there to play games 1-2 or 3-4 . They will be tough if they make it.

Well maybe not worry for them.... Especially if its the Devils or Rangers

Before we have a party for Winnipeg, they're 2 points up on Florida with FIVE games in hand.

2 points up on TO with 2 games in hand. They're not really in 1st in the Southeast and they're not really even in playoff position yet.

I'd say good luck to them, but booing Chara for no reason has soured me on the Winnipeg bandwagon.

One thing I noticed is that their fans are pretty classless, at least in their arena.

I'd be hard pressed to not to hear that in any rink except ours for some reason

Alright NYI! Take down them Rags.

Boy, their youngster Cizikas is not ready for the NHL imo, he's too weak, he was trying hard, just couldn't do anything against the Rangers along the boards

Islanders 3 Rangers 1 in the second period.

EDIT: Crud--Rangers tied it now at 3-3. Go Islanders.

that's not a good thing. This year has some extreme talent at the front. I don't want them anywhere near a lottery pick.

Islanders beat the Rangers in the SO. One point for the Rangers.

Bruins got one also and it would be great to get 2 points in the SO.

Catch the Rangers.

Bah, I`m more interested in seeing this team secure 1st spot in their division first. 7pts is hardly insurmountable however, with 3pt games, not easy to do, especially with the key personel the B`s are missing now and players playing way outta their best comfort zone.

It`s a nice accomplishment finishing first, hardly guarantees anything. As well as the Rangers have played this year, there`s something telling me that with such limited experience when it comes to players, a team like the Jets/Leafs or whomever, could burn em good. King Henrik hasn`t duplicated his regular season successes into playoff success either.

You're right, the division is the key.

As for the Rangers, I don't dismiss them, but nothing in sports is a sure thing. If it was, the Canucks would be champs.

I muted it once I saw the "ROOT SPORTS" logo. Not even worth it.

That "pure bias" is shared by a lot of people, including a ton of NHL players. Now if they get Ott? That's just a team full of slimy pukes.

It's a shame the league has gotten to a point where having Burrows, Lapierre & Ott on the same team is considered a good idea. The NHL rewards their behavior. In the good old days, Canucks would be too busy getting the crap kicked out of them like they deserve, they wouldn't have time to score or win.

I hate the Pens. Compromise the integrity of the sport and throw games so you can get Lemeiux...win 2 cups, fall on hard times and get abandoned by fairweathered fans.... Get Crosby in the draft "lottery" (Like Sidney would ever have wound up on the west coast) , get three more top 3 picks in Malkin, Staal and Fleury and have bandwagoners flock back in droves....
