Obviously, a very solid pickup of a complimentary player who is thriving now that he is not miscast as a top six winger.
Hmmm, that over-the-hill, past his prime (according to the agegidts) GM still knows something about this game and his team.

Give him some stability with a contract longer than a single season and I'm sure he'll take a very reasonable deal around $2mil which is a very reasonable deal for a guy with his talents.

Is Ponikarovski legit?
Wanted to see what Devils fans thought of him after awhile. Everytime I look he seems to be scoring. Since I dont watch every Devils game I was wondering from you guys if it seems like hes back to where he was in Toronto and could be a meaningful player or if hes just got a few lucky bounces and you dont think hes any different then he was with the last few teams.
So hows he been for you guys?

Good to see a Frisky Dingo fan, hopefully a fan of Archer as well.
Poni fits into this third line so well, hopefully he is legit and his bird doesnt quit.

He's been a godsend to our bottom six. 11 points in 15 games, and the 3rd line with him, Zubrus, and Stever Bernier has been our best and most consistent line since it's been put together.
We're thrilled he's here, he's fit like a glove and most of us want to re-sign him.

He's playing a secondary role on the Devils 3rd line and he's really playing well. He uses his size down low in the offensive zone so well, and he's been picking up some much needed secondary and garbage goal scoring around the net.

He's flourishing in a 3rd line role. We've been very happy with him. You can see he was never meant to be a top line guy, but on the 3rd he is playing very well. Really good on the cycle and along the boards with a knack for finding the back of the net. Also defensively responsible. Can't ask for much more out of a 3rd liner.

that whole line is playing great, amazing along the wall, great puck possession, physical, hard to play against... and Poni has had the finish to make them a threat. Really happy with the whole line. Exactly what this team needed.
