Ovi hurting....

Pack it up. Pack it in.
Let the selling begin
We came to win
But to keep tryin is a sin
Its time to tear this team up
GMGM you better back up
Try to play the buying role and the HF crew will act up.

If I start a topic on the main board and ask, "Is Ovechkin faking an injury?" and cite Mike Milbury rants as support and go on about what a horrible leader he is, think people will bite?

Hunter on why Hamrlik out: "You want him to be a defensive defenseman. He's giving up too many chances, so he's out of the lineup."

The level of ******** regarding players and their status is really getting to the point of absurdity.

How is Laich (limping badly and not playing the 3rd)?..."He's fine"

Ovechkin? "Equipment problem"

Backstrom? "who?"

Ironic considering Capitals Insider wrote a piece on how he was flourishing under Dale's new system. I guess too many penalty's inside the first 5 minutes of a game will do that.

I started to tally up plus / minus ratings under Hunter only the other day. I didn't tally for every player but Hamr led for those tallied which included Carlson, Alzner and Orlov. I'll have to finish that. Including the Carolina game and since Hunter started Hamrlik has had only three games where he was a minus player.

I can understand Hunter not wanting offensive contributions because lately the team is scoring in bunches. <sarcasm> He was brought in to be Green's D partner. Green is back and Hamrlik is benched.

The reasoning doesn't make sense unless he's getting traded.

it's really quite amazing. just when you think this season couldn't get any worse, something new happens each day/week.

Alternative is an NFL system where everyone including the equipment staff is "probable for Sunday".

Don't say anything truthful about personnel moves, ever.

Position of strength is LD. Maybe we are showcasing Sarge or Erskine to see if a dumbass GM wants to overpay for them. All the GM's out there have seen a healthy dose of Hammer. He could probably use a game off or may be sore. Do you think they would tell you if Hammer was injured?

Hammer will probably tell us if he's NOT injured.

Man. The team is in such a mess. Not sure how they turn things around with Ovi and Laich both being hurt.
