lol, I wonder if he has gotten used to the extra weight in muscle now, or lost weight when he had the flu... or was that extra muscle weight story even true?

Not that it matters, all that matters is he is playing well.

I think he learned how to form a black hole in his stomach to absorb pucks better.

He looks pretty good.

There are some major test coming up in the next two weeks.

Back to back Devils, a Broons and a Pitt game.

I donīt throw him under the bus after 3 games. But i donīt rise him in the universe after 3 games. So come on....

He must show a lot more before i buy his new form and his new level of effort. Lets say he continues this play till the playoffs and into the playoffs. Than i really buy, that this is the real Bryz.

Do anyone of you think 5 points in 7 Games is the real GrossmanN. No he isnīt a scorer so its a bit of an fluke... Maybe itīs the same with Bryz maybe not... Wait for it....

Remember the play of Roloson in TB last year, when everyone wished we have signed him... and look at him now...

I will wait a long time before i buy it!

There were so many fakes in the slot with bodies moving every which way. If he didn't go down and was out of position for a quick pass ---> one timer then we would've blamed him for that.

Realistically he would've had to be extremely lucky to guess that he would have to be hugging the post shortside for Zetterberg to shoot a perfect backhand snipe top shelf.

Can't even blame the defense because they caught the switch well and followed the puck forcing it outside.

The second goal-against was also nobody's fault. PP goal with the defense caught shifting away from an open man.

Good game by Bryzgalov.
On the first goal, I think he went down because Zetterberg took the puck and Bryz was screened so he went down in case he shot right away. By the time Zetterberg skated out of the screen, it was too late to get back up.

Well... I guess it is a good sign that people are nit-picking on really difficult saves now instead of us all freaking out on him about routine saves.

Progress!

They were...they are also as depleted as we are.

Devils and Pitt are playing some good hockey right now.

Broons are always a challenge since we embarrassed two years ago.

Detroit without Datsyuk, Lidstrom & Bertuzzi is like the Flyers without Prongs, Timonen & JVR

bad teams

The goals he gave up against Det, every butterfly goalie would have given up, goalie goes down, under the bar=goal. Don't mind those at all, it's pandemic of modern goaltending. It's the whif on stoppable shots that annoy me. Last couple games, no softies. The flyers can loose games, but he can't be the reason they lost. Thats what he needs to do to justify the contract.

Eh. I'm not buying a lot into it at this point. We can't know why he did it. Later on his patted Kubina right after a play where he was stung blocking a shot Bryz immediately covered.

Oh, I agree. Just thought the over-reactionary posters here would be all over this.

Actually Grossmann has 4 points in 8 games. Can we call him an "offensive" d man like Carle because he racks up even strength points on a high powered offensive team? Maybe he deserves 5mm?

He also shooshed John Boruk after the game when he was asking about his game, and diverted all his comments to his teammates and how they battled. He is becoming a better teammate and it looks genuine.

The funniest part about this is that Boruk continued with the question, just quieter.

believe me, we would be all over him if he let goal into 5 hole..
butterfly is simply the save way everyone use now, but you cant get well placed and fast shots like this one then
