Do you really need to make this big of a fool of yourself on the internet?

Apparently a 2-1-2 high forecheck is a 3-2 neutral zone trap now...

Minnesota would be all over Blacker like white on rice.

I doubt Toronto would give up that much value unless Harding promised to resign.

Have you seen our defense lately? It's horrid. You'd be happy with a .915 Save % too if you had guys like Zidlicky playing in front of you.

I think the general consensus is its much closer with a signed Harding, yes.

ugh read again. i didn't say the Wild traps. but that team is more defensively minded than Toronto's run and gun. there is no way Harding would keep .915 under Wilson

Considering the only way to get further from a trap is to use 4 forecheckers...

Minnesota isn't defensively minded. There's a huge difference between being bad at offense and being defensively minded. The Wild are the former. In fact, they have possibly the worst defense in the league.

You get gusty + mikus. ..that's it.

He's a backup Ufa, lets not go crazy folks. We are not giving up the farm for a marginal upgrade in net.

What would Franson cost MN? Would he even be available?

Not a fan of giving up prospects for impending UFA.

The reason we're trading Harding is because we have too many goalies, why would we want Gustavsson back?

8th overall in goals against - Nhl.com GA. That sounds about right.

That's because of our goaltending.

Oh look, we've come full circle again.

We'll see how Harding performs on another team. From a leafs point of view I would look elsewhere.

Roloson was suppose to flop outside of Minnesota because of their defense. Fernandez was suppose to flop outside of Minnesota (And he was injured). Holmqvist wasn't suppose to be an NHL goaltender...

i'd rather wait and see if our goalers really grow into their game, or see who else comes along.

Any one how knows anything about hockey and has seen what Harding brings to the table understands his value. There's a reason he's a target the last few years and this year he's healthy and proven his knee is good.

That being said I could care less if he goes to Toronto as long as it's not Chi were we will see him too often whenever realignment does happen.

And any team to give this guy a shot is pretty much guaranteed he resigns, he's a loyal and real character guy

Roloson never put up the same numbers once he left Minny. He rejuvenated himself last season under a similar strict defensive system. Fernandez also didn't repeat his numbers.

Not sure where you're going with this one.

Not suggesting that Harding isn't a talented goaltender BUT we lack experience/consistency in net. The type of setup that's needed here is one vet and one young apprentice.

We thought we had that in Giguere but with his injuries late last season he performed terribly down the stretch. Burke mistakingly didn't give him another chance and went with a duo that had less then 150 NHL games combined. It's been bearable for a majority of the season but since the allstar break it's been killing us.

Tell you what you seek help and you can have him when we are done with him.

He'll probably be as useful as your wit be then.

The bolded is probably the most true comment I have read on this board in my three years perusing this board. I have an immense amount of respect for Hards. Both as a goalie, but moreso as a man. He has shown has shown class, maturity, and totally understands the concept of the "team first mentality". Josh will probably move on to greener pastures and becomes a starter. The Wild will not only lose a fine goalie but Minnesota loses a top class citizen. Now that attribute may not mean much to many internet posters, but I guarantee it means a lot to every NHL GM and coach.
