There are no easy games from this point forward. Good teams looking to set a playoff level standard, average teams battling to make the playoffs, and bad teams playing fast and risky with nothing to lose and trying to play spoiler.
Expect nothing but the best whether that's from skill or just pride.
Ya, this is exactly why the stretch run is so tough. I'm glad we're playing some of our best hockey of the season.

They'll be back. Larsson before Tallinder.

The Leafs' PK has been making everybody look bad of late. I'd like to see them in PP action a few more times before I dismiss them out of hand. Especially when the other option is Foster.
Ya, unless we get blown out completely, I won't sweat it if we lose.
But if we win, that would be a statement.
I agree, for that day, or the week following a big result either way might sway me, have me thinking big, or down in the dumps, but come playoff time any one particular inseason game? Not that important.
Some one on this forum said "peaking at the right time" that I totally disagree with, we still have 20 reg season games left, let alone playoffs.
So again, any one particular game in feb? not that important.
Whenever we play da Nucs there seems to be a lot of goals scored on the first few shifts, (usually against us) although I do remember Alexander Semak scoring like 20 seconds into a game......yeah it was a long time ago.
We have to ready for an all out blitz, kinda like Toronto came out and had us pinned and running around a bit.
The right time to peak is April through June. I like the run we're on, but we'll need to keep it up into the playoffs, or lose it and then recover it, if we want to win in the playoffs.
Top3 team in the standings and top3 team is not the same thing.
Ya, we're not in the elite class of contenders. We are on a nice run, and we are capable of winning in the playoffs if everything breaks the right way.
Friday will be one of those special nights at The Rock where you say to yourself I am so glad I am here tonight.
I hope the fans bring a lot of energy to help the team.
Hedberg should start Sunday so Marty can be ready for Monday night against the Rangers
I wanna see Marty Sunday WTF!
When Hedberg played the Bolts here in December he played pretty bad. We still won the game though. It was another one of those 3rd period meltdowns. Come to think of it the time in November was too.
