I'm glad the split screen for this will horizontal. Wasn't it vertical in Borderlands 1?

Anyways, it's always a neat touch for game developers to even give us the option for local co-op play.

Looks cool. I liked the first game and will get this too.

I want

1. More variation (Driving, killing, shooting, running, quests landscpaes etc. (everything) The first game had good variation for awhile but after awhile some things felt repetive)

2. More open landscapes like eldersscroll and not just divide the game into zones. Maybe more epic wastelands that are eyecandy like skyrim?

3. Less restricted and more free.

4. Not 430202 dlcs, 1 is enough but i rather have none.

5. More boss battles?

Haha that trailer was awesome! I think I'm going to try to convince some friends to go back and play the first borderlands over again. It'll help with the wait for ME3 anyway.

Dude, the DLCs for Borderlands were amazing... And aside from ClapTrap Revolution, they added a ******** of extra playing time. Me and the 3 friends that play the game together spent at least 20 extra hours on Knox and Zombie Island alone, not to mention the Underdome (althoug THAT should have definitely been included in the original game)

I agree with most everything else you side, although Borderlands doesn't have the same, ponderous style that Skyrim has. I had no problem with the zones or the lack of any real beauty to the game (though it was nice looking in it's own right)

I really liked it but the people with modded guns on console games ruined it. There were so many bugs left unfixed. I had a version I was playing even as late as last june and theres a bug if you play online with someone who has a certain modded quest that cannot be finished it will then get put in the logs of everyone in the game and then spread from there. Basically leaves you with an annoying pending quest and the thought that you're effectively infecting everyone who then plays with you.

As for the DLC's, I hated the Zombie one but I did like the Knox and Claptrap ones. I never played the hardest boss though with a group as I grew too frustrated with the online community by that time.

If they make one huge dlc like 6 - 9 months after the game is released its one thing but common? It completly effed my trophies up and was ridiculous. Felt just like they wanted my money. (I didnt buy 1 single dlc)

And please for god sakes, lets hope they dont remove parts from the game and sell it as DLC at the realese so they can earn more money, thats the worst thing a gamedeveloper can do It should be illeagel. That is like removing the cheese on a cheeseburger and ask for more money

Since I don't have the time to read all those links I just have two questions.

1) Will it be available on Steam for pre-purchase?

2) Have the system requirements been revealed yet?

I guess that link just shows it uses steam, and I read that you should be able to preorder it soon on Steam. Don't think they have released any requirements yet though.
