I just read in another thread here that Victoria is one of the most dangerous cities in all of Canada
Those geriatric thugs!!!!
*Thinks about moving away*
Victoria's crime rate is disproportionately high because pretty much all the entertainment venues (nightclubs, the arena etc) are located downtown, which means that people come from the surrounding areas to party and end up committing/being the victims of crime in the downtown area.
10 of the top 20 most dangerous cities in Canada are in B.C.
Anyone want to try to explain that?
And say what you want about Ontario and the East, all but 2 of the top 20 cities are West of Ontario.
I don't think the rates are top-heavy at all - as in, those near the top aren't that more violent/criminal than those who are farther away. For instance, Regina has a 48% higher homicide rate than the national average - and it's the #5 city. Only Prince George and Wood Buffalo have a homicide rate that is x2 or higher than the average.
The Vita (and it's accessories) are incredibly overpriced. Also, the launch lineup is downright awful.
It'll get a price cut within a year because it won't sell well after the launch surge. Who's going to pay $250 + the cost of an overpriced memory card + games for a handheld? I just don't see that being successful.

It's going to be the 3DS all over again, except this time a large portion of gamers who saw Nintendo drastically alter their price after a poor launch are going to hold out. I expect even lower sales then 3DS.
Not sure I'd purchase it regardless of price. Have a PS3+360 at home, and my iPhone with Chrono Trigger seems to satisfy my portable-gaming urges.

I bought a 3DS...During the holidays, when I had a Best Buy gift card, when Best Buy was also offering a free $40 gift card with the purchase of one.
I think it was $200 for the 3DS and Mario 3D land, and then I had a $20 Best Buy gift card and I used the $40 gift card for Mario Kart when it came out so I essentially got the hardware and two games for under $200.
The problem with 3ds is that, yes the games are great so far (zelda, mario) but that's all it is, it's just a gaming device, and while I love that also, I need a bit more in a device then just a gaming device in this day and age.
Vita is the total package, Right now its overpriced by about 50$, and you have to buy a memory card.
But the potential for the vita from the features and from the future games, I expect great things.
Also the screen is downright nasty, if you guys have not seen it yet, go find one.
Besides why would you do that as you would also be violating your license restrictions travelling to the border.???
Passengers
You are limited to 1 passenger—unless you're driving a passenger vehicle and have a supervisor 25 years or older with a valid Class 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 driver's licence.
What about family members? This restriction does not apply to immediate family members: mother, father, sister, brother, child, spouse, grandparent, grandchild; including step and foster relationships.

When it comes to a gaming console, I don't care about any of its other "features". I have a smart phone for a reason.
Can I go across the border as an N driver and get through with more than one passenger?
My friend does this all the time, but I don't recommend it. He asked me to go to Seattle to pick up his friend that was coming from California. I didn't end up going, and go figure there was a road block coming back to Canada. Nothing happened to him cause he only had one passenger, but if I were there we'd be ****ed.

!!!!!!!!!!
FFT for iPhone is the best $11.99 I have ever spent. I am thinking Crono Trigger will be a close second.
Now if I could get FF6 and Earthbound for iPhone I may never touch another console ever again.
Don't use the one the realtors recommend. Spend the extra couple dollars now to make sure you get someone thorough. You don't buy a used car without a mechanic looking through it. I'll never understand people that buy a house, don't put a day into an inspection, and find out months later that something is going to cost 10's of thousands of dollars.
