That's still pretty pricey IMO. When you think about it... I can get a pulled pork sandwich at Burgers ETC for $8. I'm just nitpicking here, but it's still true that some food carts in Van have dumb prices..

Either way, Re-up is awesome.

Though its also unfair to compare food truck prices in van and seattle. Food is just generally cheaper in the states

Peanut butter and jelly in a jar. Together, embracing each other.

I bought 6 jars. Gave 4 to 2 friends. Friends go next week to buy more.

I like it, but I think it needs more peanut butter. Pretty sweet too. Definitely not health friendly though(fructose corn syrup.)

I'll take the more expensive food and our stricter food regulations.

American food regulations are downright scary.

Hey all,

I come in peace for a little bit of help:

Does anyone know somewhere in the lower mainland (preferably Surrey/Langley) that sells MLB merch, particularly jerseys?

I'm looking to get a Blue Jays jersey, but I have no idea what size I need and I can't find a place around here that I can go to in order to try one on and be sure. Since I want to customize my jersey, there are no refunds if I screw up and get it too small/big. I went to basically every sports store in Willowbrook mall, and although I think Mad Dog's Sports used to have lots of baseball stuff, they're out in Abbotsford or something now and appear to be just a gear & equipment retailer.

Thanks. And yeah, I know. GTFO Sharks fan/Baseball sucks/Blue Jays suck/etc. etc.

Sorry, I am not taking signature requests at this time.

Well, ****.

A few months ago I manged to land a job I really like with an organization for which I have an immense amount of respect. Yesterday, I found out that I got into the grad school that I most wanted to go to. It's a professional Master's program and I will have the opportunity to study with and be an RA for a prof whose research and work is closely aligned with my own professional and academic interests...

I am incredibly conflicted at the moment.

Jersey City at Guildford Mall? The Hockey Shop (used to be Mad Dogs maybe?) is right by Surrey Central skytrain station. I'm not sure if they have MLB gear, though.

Almost positive that The Hockey Shop doesn't carry anything but hockey stuff. It's been a few months since I've been there, but it's my usual place to get hockey jerseys lettered and even though their new location (across the street from the old one) is a lot bigger, it's still just hockey AFAIK.

I'll give Jersey City a shot though.

I know for a fact Jersey City in Guildford has Blue Jays jerseys. I was in that mall today and saw a Lawrie jersey hanging in there.

Ferdinand Porsche, designer of the 911 has passed away.

I praise him for making the mid life crisis a lot more classy.

Sorry, I shall avoid it in the future. Too bad the posts had to go though. I think that I had a clever response to one of the more snide comments.

Yikes. Just had 6 cop cars chasing 3 guys behind my house in the bushes. The cops had the guns out, and the dog out as well, which eventually caught all three guys. It' beyond me why these 3 dumb***** thought they could run in knee-deep snow, in the bush, faster then a dog and not get caught.

Don't know how I can go to sleep after that excitement tonight.

The one thing that police have going for them is that your run of the mill crook is abysmally stupid.

Where they have problems is with organized and white collar crime.

Wow, I remember this story. I thought a bunch of drunk/high teenagers on Halloween night were probably responsible for this. But wow.
