I could see it, but a few things would have to happen.
1) Waive Jack Hillen
2) Send Ellis Down
3) Bourque sent down
that would leave bouillon and Weber as your 6 and 7 dmen for the playoffs. Taking on another forward, with hornquist and soon mcgratton coming off IR, we have a glut of forwards that would be playing the 3rd and 4th lines in nashville-
Wow, hadn't heard that. Can you find that specific quote?
And I agree, NSH has no need for Yannick Weber. None. Ellis and Blum are better versions of him on the right side.
think this means one of ellis or blum are on their way out now if this comes to fruition? might give the hemsky rumors some more fuel, thats my thoughts at least. with Y.Weber and Gill coming in, might make it easier to turn one of ellis or blum loose for a guy like hemsky. i agree with NSH posters that hemsky's not worth 1 of them AND a 1st, but could see something done here, it makes a lot of sense to me.
Why would we give up Halischuk? He has 12 goals this season, the same as Andrei Kostitsyn has. We don't need Weber, our D is stacked as it is.
I see Andrei Kostitsyn + a 3rd rounder for 1st rounder and a prospect
because we have a ton of Matt Halischuks on the roster and in the org. We could lose him and have Beck or Latta, or Mueller take his place next year playing 8 min a night

Halischuk does amazing for 3rd line minutes, he comes up with points at key moments and he hustles maybe more than any other player on our roster. I want to keep him for the playoffs...
i heard it, it was part of a radio interview the day after the Gill trade, discussing the deadline in general.
That said, I don't buy this rumor. There may be elements of it that are true, but with Nashville's scouts coming into to town tomorow, the timing seems off.
Plus, as mentioned, no use for Y. Weber.
Maybe they coming to pick up AK so he doesn't get lost in US, you know his English not at best
I doubt we do that, unless we are sure Rads isn't coming back anytime soon.
I think it might be a situation where Radulov won't come back to Nashville but might show up to play in Montreal, especially if Patrick Roy was involved in coaching.
In other words Radulov might have more value to the Habs, than he does to Nashville, as he may never play in Nashville.

no.. more value? radulov playing for under a million as a RFA for a internal budget team like NSH where radulov would easily be our most talented player.... right lol more value to the habs.. radulov's rights for ak I don't see happening.. also dont know the credibility of that source?
I doubt he "refuses" to play in NSH but "jumps" at the opportunity to play in MTL. just my 2 cents
