Winnipeg losing 2-0. Hope they win as I want them in the play-offs, whoever they play against will be ****-scared to play at MTS.

They played well enough against the Blues to win today. They got a point which is more than I expected.

Good call bro.
Although I'd have said to the kid to ask for a Geno jersey instead of a Sid one since Sid's future is well....unknown unfortunately.

Man. The constant switching between the teams in the East in 4/5/6/7 is crazy. It's currently;
Pittsburgh - 75
New Jersey - 74
Philadelphia - 73
Ottawa - 72
Ottawa and Philadelphia play tonight. If both were to win it'd look like this;
Philadelphia - 75
Pittsburgh - 75
New Jersey - 74
Ottawa - 74
Various different scenarios for OT wins etc. But it's crazy how tight they are.

I'm confident against Philly/NJ. Factor in we'd get home ice where we've been damn good this season, I'll take the #4 seed without hesitation.
If we could draw Ottawa in the 1st round, I'll take that as well.

I know but I can honestly see that turning into a "be careful what you wish for" scenario.

Rags losing at the moment. If they lose this and we win tomorrow against CBJ, we'll only be 5 points behind them.
Division title race isn't over yet.

Nice snipe by Dustin Brown on the PP. Kings up 1-0 on Chicago. Hawks looking lackluster again tonight.

4-0 Caps. Like they're mentioning on TV, being a fly on the wall in Burke's meetings would be interesting

This has to be the opposite game the Maple Leafs would wanted to have. Guess Burke might make shake some things up.

Leafs are pissing me off. I so want them to make the playoffs ahead of the Caps, but the way they're playing this past month probably means they'll end up finishing around .500, and miss out.
I said it before, will repeat again. The Southeast is terrible. I can't believe that the division leader would be fifth in the Pens' division. If the Caps make the playoffs, it's because they play in the crappiest division in hockey.

Dustin Brown with a hat trick. 2 pp goals and a shorty.
EDIT: Hawks playing with no compete level tonight whatsoever. 4-0 Crawford pulled, Emery in. Chicago has more problems than just a goalie, but it would be a good start
to begin with an upgrade. I would be shocked if Bowman isn't trying to get a goalie at this very moment.

I'm pulling for the Panthers in the SE myself, they're my AHL's parent club now. It has been something to watch. It is nice for them cause they have had such difficult years, but this is like some sort of weird water torture. They were doing well, but they have to deal with injuries and now some nights with lack of offense.
Speaking of, down 2-0 ex Cap Fleischmann and ex Rangers Wolski scored. They went to a SO where oddly enough 2 of 3 Panther shooters scored and they won. The only one who didn't? Wolski, who was brought in for his SO abilities. Think that puts them back on the top

I would love to see Winnipeg end up winning the Southeast.

Florida's still got four games on them after passing them just now. They really should take it comfortably. In fact, everyone in the east has games on Winnipeg.

Of course...the Flames were up most of the game but end up losing to the Flyers in a shoot-out.
