If he does come back then I hope they can keep Suter and Weber as well (at least for one year before Radulov has his huge contract demand). I'd be very interested in watching them in the playoffs.

Getting paid more money to play in an inferior league instead of the best league in the world and screwing over the team that drafted you = The Russian Factor

Kuznetsov has absolutely ZERO obligations to play for the Caps. He's not screwing them over at all.

Would seem to me he may want to get a little more money in his pocket before he heads to the NHL. Interested to see how this all plays out.

Apparently Kuznetsov wants a long term (like, really long term, like 10+ years) contract to stay in Russia.

I thought he was being penciled in on their second line next year

Would love Radulov on the Penguins, don't think it'd happen though.

Well i'm pretty sure that the caps were expecting him to at least come to training camp. That would be a big blow to their team if he signed in the KHL, would it not?

So how is he screwing over the Caps? It's not like it was his choice to get drafted by them. If anything, they're screwing themselves over.

And play in a completely inferior league? Ever heard of professional athletes having elite competitive fire?

Didn't Radulov give Arnott a concussion from jumping on him while celebrating a goal?

So...we have a shot at seeing three top players join the central division next year?
St. Louis gets Tarasenko
Nashville gets Radulov
Columbus gets Yakupov / another top player (they have a very high chance of picking first or second)
The central is bad enough already

1) Radulov is coming back to the NHL for the 3rd time in as many years
2) Kuz is the new Radulov

Like you would turn down more money (and we aren't talking about loose change here) and go to play in Canada if you were Russian.
